You dumped me in the water
And now I'm just lost floating in the surface
Hanging on the edge of the breakwater
Just about a little bit of sea in my ears
Would sufficeBaby, you left me like I was nothing more than a candy wrapper
Abandoned me in a blaze of hot words that ignited my skin
Fire, that was it; in my eyes, in your clenched fist, your teeth, my heartOh, you've pushed me to the ocean
Slamming down on the waves
Oh, it's just the beginning of something great
But, baby, I'm an oil spill, now
And you just started the fire that might drown us
