From the corner of my eye, I see Cecilia rubbing her eyes, she must be tired from all the things that happened today. I crawl towards the wall and i made sure i was still in Joe's line of vision, I put my back on the wall, its ice cold
I hissed
From all the adrenaline i had pumping though me i didn't notice how cold it was in the room. I look at both my kids, Lucas is wearing a white long sleeve shirt and black jeans and Cecilia is wearing a light pink sweater and black leggings, I could tell, by just looking at them that they were cold. I looked at myself, I had on a white oversized sweater and black skin tight jeans, I could tell out of all three of us i was a bit warmer than them.
I took off my sweater which revealed a black t-shirt that outline my clevelage, lets just say it leaves little to imagination, it was a tight black tank top,that reaches just above my belly button i wasn't planning on taking off my sweater. so i just threw on a tank top, and with these girls, their ready to play peek-a-boo, with i don't keep pulling up my shirt now and then.
"Mom?" Lucas looked at me in question
"Come here, Cecilia and Lucas" i said in my mom voice
they both obediently came to me, I lift my oversized sweater over there heads, they both fit in my sweater because there were small, i spread my legs and place them in between, facing the camera
"Now sleep, both of you"
I know there both warm when i felt them stop shaking i smile a very satisfying smile, i sang them a lullaby and wait till both their breath even out before i look back at Joe.
and his face was looking at me with..... as if he's..... satisfied
" Why are you looking all pleased for?" i said
"Just glad that the mother of my kids isn't as dumb as she looks, or one of those bitches who don't give a shit about their kids."
I gasp
" As dumb as I look? For one i do not look dumb" I said harshly
"Two, I'm not one of those women, who don't not care for their children, I love my children to death, they make my life so much....funny, and fun, they give me so much love, that'll last three life times. " I explained softly
He just looks at me
Then grins
The room filled with silence as Joe looked at my kids with longing in his eyes
But as quickly as i saw it,
It quickly disappeared
"Can't wait till I feel that, darling."
