You hadnt seen zane in a few days. But it wasnt like you didnt know where he went. Hes been on so many missions, that you never saw him anymore. Over the time you were alone, you started to take a sword fighting class, so you could at least protect him back. As you practiced your moves, a tear slid down your cheek as you thought of zane.

You stopped for a moment, seeing that you cut your arm. You rushed to the bathroom, bandaging your arm.

"Ill do it for him?" you stopped, turning around to see zane finishing your song for you. He heard you sing ing, and you never knew he came home. You put the kit away, and walked up to zane, hugging him. Your arm was still sore, but you fought against the pain, feeling his cold arms wrap around your back. "Why did you hurt yourself?"

"Im taking sword fighting classes, so i can protect you,"
"I dont need you to do that. I have all the protection i need."
"No, because if youre the one fighting for me, then whos the one fighting for you?" then he just stared at you in amazement, cupping your face and his cold hand. "That seems like a sutible idea to me, y/n. I love you so much," he said befire softly kissing you on the lips.
