Can't hardly breath
Stuck on flashbacks of my bad memories
Oh, allah, remove my heart from this numbness and grieve
The emptiness I always tend to feel.
Indeed Ya Allah without your remembrance my heart feels cold and incomplete
Oh Allah,
Protect my estranged nafs from the devils' chains of disbelieve.
I don't want to be caught up in his tangles of whispers and wicked schemes
Oh Allah, in your nearness I'm searching for the true meaning of solace
And by Your Straight Ya Allah, I will surely make it work to achieve
the ultimate goal of being the better version of myself with patience of relieve
