"It's so nice to finally meet you" it said, grinning from ear to ear. This was sigma, maines new AI. You smiled back timidly, slightly unnerved by the AI's aura.

"You too, sigma" you nod to the AI and Maine growls.

Maine was easy to understand because you knew him so well, you had been together for almost a year now. You had learnt that he was really just a big teddy bear around those he truly cares about, but now that he had an AI you weren't sure how things would play out. Would he change? The others who had received AI's had changed. North and York would talk non-stop about their AI's for the first couple weeks. Hopefully Maine wouldn't.

"Um, actually. Can we show the others a bit later... I would like to talk to you in... Private" you were afraid you might hurt the AI's feelings, if it had any so you smiled apologetically at it. Sigma nodded in understanding.

"I will log out and let you two talk" the AI gave a little wave before logging off.

"Thanks sigma..." Maine wrapped his arm around your waist and pulled you into an embrace. You rested your forehead against his and looked into his eyes. He let out a small growl.

You pecked his lips, a loving smile plastered on your features. You traced his jawline with one hand while the other rested on his shoulder limply.

"Promise me now that you have an AI you won't change" Maine kissed your lips gently and pulled away, holding out his hand. His pinkie finger was extended. You laughed wrapping your own around his.

"You dork" you completed the pinkie promise and linked arms with him, heading off to the mess hall.
