[Flashback]
Lauren walked through the empty hall of her house. She was in desperate search of her mother, unaware of where Taylor and Chris were.
"Lauren?" Taylor called out, Lauren smiled brightly when she saw Taylor holding her mother's birthday cake.
"It looks delicious! She's going to love it Tay, good job." Lauren said, glaring down at the vanilla cake.
"Chris said he won't be able to make it to mom's surprise party... So it's going to be a surprise party with only two people." Taylor sighed, she walked past Lauren, hoping to avoid the taller girl's disappointed look.
"Are you fucking serious? He knows how much this means to mom!" Lauren shouted, slamming her fist against the cold wall, slightly impaling it.
"You know, it's difficult for him. He still thinks dad's on a vacation. If he finds out what really happened, he's never going to leave you alone." Taylor spoke, frowning down at the birthday cake she held firmly.
"I know..." Lauren quietly said.
If Chris really found out what happened to his father, Lauren's life would forever be at risk.
