Coffee Shop

People started to head out while I stayed behind to finish up.

"See you tomorrow y/n!" My boss shouted.

I smiled and waved at him. I was cleaning the tables as a kid my age walked in. He had beautiful brown eyes and brown hair. One was lazy. He looked down at the floor and sighed. I wanted to ask what was wrong, but it wasn't my business.

"I'm sorry we're closed" I said.

"Can I please just stay here for a little?" He asked.

He looked like someone just broke up with him. He pulled his flannels up a bit holding his pen his hand. I sighed and nodded. I continued to clean tables as I watched him sit at a booth. He wrote down some words on a napkin humming some words. From what I heard, he was really good. I continued to clean the counter slowly listening to him. I brought him a coffee smiling and nodding at him kindly. He smiled and thanked me back. Was he writing about a girl? Was he sad about it?

"take your shot it might be scary hearts are gonna break" he sings to himself sweetly.

I smiled walking into the kitchen. I finished cleaning and walked back to find him gone. I looked around confused and sighed walking over to his table. I grabbed the mug and saw some money sitting on the table. I smiled, grabbed it, stuffed it in my pocket, and took the mug back to the kitchen. I shut off the lights and traced my fingers along the wall as I walked home alone, once again.

Hey hey! Okay so I was gonna tell u guys about the whole thing in my last imagine and it's about this big trip I'm taking. I'm going to Pickering next summer for no reason at all. Well I mean Shawn is one of them. I just wanna see where the love of my life grew up, lived most of his life, see this cute small town and then head to Toronto to see everything else. I don't have an honest reason to go to Pickering but I've always loved Canada even before Shawn. It's honestly the best place and I wish I lived there. If you live there I'm jealous. I'm going with my college best friend and I cannot contain my excitement. I hope to see the roots of Shawn to see how he is so passionate. Planning to write a book about this little Shawn journey so stayed tuned. I hope he sees the book in the future and appreciates it. I hope he stays in touch with his hometown forever. That's what makes Shawn- well Shawn. Okay now I'm crying so yeah. Love you song birds!😘
