Chapter 7

"Hey don't go so fast mate!!"I exclaim.

"Hahaha very funny... I just get excited with this types of things." She says.

"Wait....Where are we going?" I asked since we are walking towards the school exit.

"To my house." She says in a duh tone...this girl uses the duh tone wait to much, it makes me feel stupid.

"Oh....WAIT WHAT?!?!? I can't afford skipping school!!" Is she crazy or something?

"Oh please you were in the music room and I'm pretty sure you were supposed to be somewhere else." She says smirking.

"Yeah but my mom will kill me." I said looking at the ground.

"Pleeeeaaaasssseeee." She begged.

"Ughhh fuck it, let's go." I said, I mean think about it I've never cared about what mom says.

"YAAAAAAS." she said, her accent showing even more.

In Jasmine's house

"Wow your house is so pretty." I said once we entered.

"Thanks." She said. "BOYS WHERE ARE YOU?!?!" She calls out.

"In the garage." A male with British accent responds.

We go to the through a little hallway that I suppose leads us to the garage.

"Hey guys." She says when she opens the door.

"Hey." 3 tall guys say in unison.

"Wait....where's Brad?" She asks when she noticed someone was missing(I guess).

"He's late." The guy with brown hair and dreamy eyes said.

"Like always." The one with the Metalica shirt and British accent adds.

"He said he was gonna be here in 10, remember he has to look for his sister since their mom has to work till midnight." The one reading pride, prejudice and zombies added.

"Ok well guys this is Marie and she came to see the band practice." She explained.

"Hi Marie." The guy with dreamy eyes said. "I'm Matt." He adds.

"Nice to meet you." I said blushing.

"Hi I'm Josh." The guy with the Metalica shirt and British accent said.

"Hi nice to meet you." I repeat.

"And I'm Riley." The guy that previously was reading said.

"You play any instrument?" Josh asks.

"Yeah she's a really good bassist." Jasmine said before I could respond.

"What do you guys play?" I asked getting a little more comfortable.

"I play the drums." Josh said.

"I play the guitar." Riley said.

"Me too." Matt adds.

"Cool." I said.

"Oh come on play something for them." Jas encouraged me.

"Oh no." I said.

"Pleeeeaaaasssseeee." Wow she's a good begger.

"Ok, but what?" I asked.

"Anything." Riley said handing me a black bass.

I started playing What I Like About You by The Romantics. I started plucking the E string putting my ring finger in the third fret then the A string, second fret and D string and then let the music take me away. I remember how my dad taught me this song, it was the first song I learned how to play. I miss this, I miss my dad.

I was interrupted by the door being opened.

"Guys I'm so sorry I'm late, I couldn't- oh hi." Brad(I guess) says. Wait I've seen you before I thought.

"Brad it's ok.." Jasmine assured him pecking his pink lips.

"Thanks." He said with a sigh of relief.

I couldn't take it anymore, curiosity took over me. "I've seen you before right?"

"Yeah, yesterday I bumped into you." He explained.

"Oh so you know each other." Jasmine says.

"Yup." We both say in unison.

"JAS DO YOU HAVE VEGEMITE?" Someone asks from the kitchen I suppose.

"Yes it's in the fridge." Jasmine responds.

After an awkward silence a brunette girl came eating a sandwich.

"You didn't make any for me?" Jasmine asked.

"Nope." The brunette girl replied. "And you are?" She asked.

"Marie." I said.

"Kaylynn." She introduces herself.

"She's my baby sister." Brad explains.

"I'm turning 17 next month." Kaylynn argues.

"Hey Jas mom says she's bringing takeout." Josh says. Wait what? They're siblings? The dude has a Britich accent. I thought.

"Oh great. Marie do you wanna stay for dinner?" Wow is it that late? I thought.

"Uhmm yeah sure.... I'll just text my mom." I said taking my phone out. Shit! I'm grounded.

Me:
I'm gonna stay in the library... I'm in the new book club.

Mom:
Sure hun! But come straight home.
