"Yeah I'm good." I say for the hundredth time.

"You sure?" Iris sounds unsure about it as she pesters me more. "Iris I can't go I'm still sick." Half lie. "Plus, I don't feel like seeing a zombie movie." I say seriously. And that part is the truth.

"Lyra has the thought even possibly crossed your mind what Eddie would think -"

"Who cares! Don't let Eddie this Eddie that rule your life or you'll become the girlfriend locked in her own house because your boyfriend thinks your beauty is too captivating for everyone else to see. And he'll be the guy to go and kill the guy who does see you." I smile when I hear her laugh.

"Yeah your right. Barry's my best friend. If Eddie has a problem with hanging out with him he can talk to -"

"Me!!" I yelled. Yup, I wouldn't mind teaching that boy a lesson. I mean, as nice as he is in all...but still.

I almost hear her smile through the phone. "Ok, by Lyra." She says funnily.

"Have fun Iris." I smile, then we hang up.

I press play on Netflix again, but my mind thinks of Barry and Iris.

They would be a cute couple, but I don't think Iris will ever be smart enough to see the obviousness of Barry's crush on her. Plus she's got a boyfriend now. But hey, this is a good thing that they can hang out together - Barry could win her over. Then, maybe after a while maybe even confess his feelings. Who knows? Maybe she's always had some small feelings for him deep inside.

My stomach growls. I huff as I pause Netflix again and get up to get some lunch.

I run the towel through my hair as the wetness in my hair decreases. I wipe my eyes free of any makeup that didn't come off in the shower and that I didn't take off two days ago.

Throwing on my red shirt I add a black leather jacket and jeans and black ankle boots. Grabbing most of my top hair I straighten it but still let it bet wavy. Adding some mascara and foundation I head to my car and throw my bag in before myself.

When I get to the Central City PD I just walk to Barry's lab knowing he'll be there. Actually during Barry's 9 month coma I got to fix the place up after the explosion. Along with Cisco's help of course. But I added some theme colors and stuff, not too much. Well, and a couch. Which is definitely important because I can take a nap on it when I don't feel like working and I'm hiding from Captain Singh.

Walking up the stairs I slow down to a halt when I hear Joe and Barry talking. "This is all we have on your mom's case. We'll read through it, pick up any new information...." It was quiet for a moment.

"I'm gonna try to help Henry Barry." I smiled at that. Joe didn't always believe Barry. With the whole blurs of yellow and red, and how his dad didn't murder him. Joe just assumed that his father did kill his mother and now - well it looks like somethings changed between them and that subject.

I continue walking up the last step and bring my fist up to knock on the door. "Its open!" I turned the doorknob and gave Barry a crazed look.

"Obviously it wasn't." Joe grinned and shook his head.

Then the devil - cough - Eddie walked in. "Did you guys not hear about the dead bodies they found at the restaurant on Rubard Street?" I rolled my eyes. What was it about this Rubard Street? Last time it was the man with the wife who had cancer and worked at the pawn shop. Now this?
