It had been a week since Lucas left town. Haley was still really upset and all Nathan did was try to comfort her but Haley couldn't get over the fact that her best friend was gone. Even though she still had Nathan. Currently Nathan and Haley were walking out of school and heading to his car to return home. When all the sudden of flustered Brooke came out of nowhere and started banging on the windshield of the car. Looking at Brooke with fear Haley knew what this was about. It was about Nathan and Haley's marriage they decided to keep it a secret until they were ready to tell everyone Lucas is the only one that knew for now and Haley's parents of course. Nathan and Haley were still really nervous to tell his parents they were worried what Dan might do to them or what deb would say. Then brooke begin to punch the windshield and smile while yelling a bunch of bluster that Haley couldn't make out.

"YOU." Brooke said gritting her teeth and pointing out Haley

"Me?" Haley mouthed

Brooke nodded

"both of you didn't tell me you got married I had to find out from other people. I even saw the wedding bands on both of your hands and didn't say anything because I couldn't figure it out. I expected you both to tell me I am very upset." Brooke yelled as nathan rolled down the window

"our life is private Brooke we don't have to tell you every fact." Nathan argued

"oh. Yes. You do I am Brooke Davis everyone expects me to know all the drama and I was the last person to find out this is not OK." She screamed

"Brooke you're being dramatic." Nathan sighed

"oh am I? Did I not just say I'm Brooke Davis?" Brooke questioned

"Brooke we're sorry we wanted to keep it a secret and intimately we could keep towards each other." Haley said smoothing things over

"whatever. All I know is I'm throwing you a bachelorette party and bridal shower and of course a congratulations after party."

"Brooke" Haley sighed

"fine. Fine. Fine. Maybe just a huge after party and a bachelorette party skip the bridal shower. You deserve presents and the night away from this guy." Brooke said pointing at Nathan who was shocked by her announcement

"maybe just the after party I'm not too sure about the bachelor party were already married so what's the point?" Haley asked

"oh so you don't want to Hot guy to take his clothes off for you? Brooke asked

"I already have one."haley said looking at Nathan with the red face. Nathan looked at her with off and begin to lean in for a kiss when all of a sudden.....

"GROSS! You see what I mean A night away from each other."

"Brooke this really isn't necessary." Haley said

"Yes it is and I know you're a little sad about the whole Luke is going away thing but screwit and honey I'm the one that kissed him and then he just skipped town come on Haley for me do this for me." Brooke pleaded

"fine. But if this gets out of hand I'm cutting it." Haley said

"oh goody. We're gonna have so much fun I can already see it now Haley."

Brooks gift away from their house with the gleeful joy and Haley glance over at Nathan who is speechless. Nathan began to put the car in drive and ruled by the parking spot and drive home the car was silent then Haley began to speak.

"Nathan it's just a bachelorette party I'm knocking to do anything crazy I'm just going to be there for Brooks enjoyment."

"it's not that Haley it's the fact that we are going to be apart from each other for a night we haven't been apart since our wedding."

"All that's so sweet but who says we have to be apart from each other?"

"what are you saying Haley James?"

"haley James Scott is saying that we should meet up sometime and sneak away from the others."

"Well Haley James Scott is a smart lady" Nathan joked

"A smart married lady." Haley laughed

"oh really? Tell me about the guy she's married to." Nathan joked

"well he's about yay high some blue eyes they're really not that cute , brown hair but he is definitely not hot as my husband." Haley jokes as well

"oh really?" Nathan asked while leaning in

"maybe." Haley said leaning in as well as their lips touch

"Maybe her husband is better." Haley murmured on his lips

"Sexier?" Nathan challenged

"that too." Haley nodded as she deepened the kiss
