Loki Laufeyson- House

"It is magnificent!" Loki exclaims, eyes wide with excitement as he comes running into the room where you're unpacking boxes of cutlery and other various kitchen items. "The view is just breathtaking, so beautiful you will gaze upon it for hours and hours and never grow bored of it." He pauses to sit onto the ground next to you, taking your hands in his. "(Y/n), this is like a dream. I could not be more happy."

You grin. "If I would've of known moving hours away from any civilization would make you this happy, I would've done it years ago."

"It is not just the absence of absent minded humans--with the exception of you, of course-- that make this location wonderful, it is that we are in nature amongst the trees and the birds. The air is much cleaner and less polluted like the the cities and towns. I despised-"

"Loki," You stand, taking his hand and pulling him to the living room where you're able to look over the valley of trees and lakes. "Take a deep breath and try not to explode, yeah?"

He laughs, resting a hand on your hip comfortably as his eyes find yours. "This is too good to be true."

Rolling your eyes, you say, "You just wait. Something is bound to go wrong."

He smiles. "Then I will be there to make it right."

A tug on your pants makes you look down. Totoro looks expectantly at you, and you laugh and pick him up. "You like the house?"

He nods furiously, hands finding your cheeks and he pats them gently in his way of thanking you.

"I think that means yes," Loki says, and Totoro wiggles in your arms and jumps to the ground. "How about we search the basement?"

You snort, patting his shoulder as you walk by. "Rule number one of moving into a new house: never search the basement at night."

He frowns. "Why?"

"Because there could be ghosts?" You say, giving him a duh look and he huffs.

"Alright, fine. But you must promise we will go first thing tomorrow morning."
