Chapter 20

After the day ends I walk out to my car. I begin to think about the dream I had last night for the hundredth time today, still feeling his fingers graze my skin ever so lightly. I almost wish I had seen him before I left because I already miss him, as pathetic as that sounds. I don't want to dream at all anymore, why can't I just dream weird random things like most people...oh right because my life is a fucked up mess.

"Hi Rose" Dina says happily as I enter the back door of the café, I look over to her and smile, her dark hair is places in a low bun and her smile is wide

"Hi Dina, how's your day going?" I ask politely

"Great actually business is busy, so get to working" she says teasingly, we both laugh and I head over to the hook to get my apron. Sky's already gone and her purse is there in its place, I guess she's already working. I put my bag up and my apron over my outfit.

"Hey Rose" Bryan's voice says across the kitchen

"Hey Bryan how's it going?" I ask smiling at him

"Good" he says, Sky's right he is a man of very few words

"So you're taking a year off of college?" I ask trying to make conversation as I throw my long hair up into a ponytail

"Yeah I want to get some extra cash before I go back and get my bachelors" he says casually walking over to me and grabbing his apron

"Oh cool what's your major?" I ask wanting to get to know my coworker more

A warm smile appears on his face "this may sound surprising but actually I would like to be an actor"

I'm taken back by his answer and my eyes widen, he chuckles at my expression "yeah I never picked you as the type but that's really cool, I'm still debating on what I want to do" I tell him honestly "it's nice you have such a passion for something"

"Yeah I love it actually, I'm not going to be big and rich at first but I hope to be one day" he says and I can really tell how much he loves it, he seems so passionate about it and I envy that. He is very attractive and could defiantly be one of those actor that all the girls drool over...me included, I giggle at the thought.

"Shall we?" He motions to the door and I nod

I wait tables, take there order, bring them there food, and clean there tables then repeat.

I walk back into the kitchen to grab a tray of pasta and a sandwich that looks amazing. After I wait this table I'm having a snack, I'm starving. "thanks Tony" I tell him picking up the tray

He smiles and waves his cooking utensil in the air "keep it coming Rose I'm the cooking god and ready to make the customers of this place tastebuds dance with joy" he sings

We both laugh as I watch him dance a little, I turn around and almost spill the whole tray on a smiling Sky "gosh Sky don't do that!" I tell her

"Sorry but dude there is a guy out there and he is smokin, I mean like seriously hot" she says fanning her self dramatically

I giggle at her little charade "really? Where"

"Out there he's hot trust me, he's in your section actually, table 8" she says "lucky duck" she says with a pouty face

I laugh again and head out, still holding the tray of delicious looking food. I set the food down on the table and the customers kindly smile and thank me. I look for table eight trying to figure out who Sky had been drooling over and my eyes fall upon a handsome green eyed blonde.
