Where's the balance
Between sane and mad?
You're crawling up and out
Of the dark, dank rabbit hole,
Ready to face the world.
But where will you go?
Where will you end up?
The fear of the unknown future
Fills you with a horrifying dread.
You want to go back,
But the rabbit hole is closing up.
There's excitement,
Sure,
You're going to be in the real world.
Where your horrors one began.
Human faces
Are no longer tainted
By the gory glares they held
Once before.
Scared,
But the world is in colour
Finally,
After so long.
The air is cold,
But not frosty as it had always been,
It's fresh, like that of a new beginning.
Together,
With the help of the once tainted faces,
We will find the balance
Between sane and mad.
