I smiled when I spotted each of the boys finally enter backstage from their show. They were all dripping and smelling of sweat but it didn't bother me that much because I had grown accustomed to the certain stench of boy.

"So, liked it?" He grinned as he wrapped a sweaty arm around my neck. I pulled a face at him and handed him one of the water bottles from the table. The rest of the boys were laughing and talking with each other.

"Loved it, you were really great out there. All of you," I complimented as he took a big gulp of water. As he finally looked back down at me, I felt the dreaded topic fill my senses. I wanted to tell him today but I don't know how he would react.

"Good, I want you to come to my next one tomorrow. I know you probably have things to do but I really like it when you're there, it helps me keep calm. Even if you just come for a few seconds..." He begged as he flashed me his dimples. Of course I couldn't say no to that, besides, I didn't have anything better to do.

He noticed my fall of expression as he furrowed his eyes brows and took his arm off from my shoulder. "What's up?"

"There's...something I need to tell you Haz," I gulped, looking around the area to make sure the boys weren't listening on.

"Yeah okay. What is it?"

I took a big breath and closed my eyes in nerves before opening them again and finally let the words slip from my mouth.

"I think I love you." His eyes widened in both shock and horror. I looked down, waiting for an answer whether it was rejection or not.

"W-well I love you too, you are my b-best friend... right?" He stuttered, pretending he didn't know what I meant but he clearly did.

"No Harry. I mean like...I'm in love with you...maybe..."

"C-come on, you don't mean that. You and me both know we are just friends. Let's go to the rooms, I need to shower." He gulped giving me a fake smile. I furrowed my eyebrows in embarrassment of what just occurred. I nodded my head and followed behind him. I could tell he was a little tense from that. I was too. I don't even know what I was expecting to hear. I mean, he's Harry Styles, known as the hottie of the group...I just know him as Harry. But he doesn't. He sees himself as being able to snatch any single girl he wants if he really wanted to. I know he's not looking for a relationship but either way, it was going to have to come out.

When got in the room it was suddenly awkward. He looked at me one more time before heading into the shower.

I groaned and threw a cushion at the door just before Louis and Niall entered. They looked at me in confusion from my sour expression and the cushion on he floor.

"What happened?" Niall asked as he came by to sit next to me. Louis followed and sat on the other side of me. I buried my face into another cushion and let out a muffled scream.

"I told him and he totally shut me off, not to mention, friend zoned me." I groaned, burying my face into Niall's boulder who stroked my head.

"What did you tell him?" Louis asked.

"I told him I loved him." My voice sounded muffled in his shirt but I didn't care.

"Oh. I'm sorry love, maybe he's just not ready or doesn't know what he wants like you do. I'm positive he really likes you." Niall comforted. I pulled away from his embrace and stood up, turning to face them.

"You know what, forget him. He hasn't made a move in 3 years, clearly he doesn't see me the same way I do to him. I'll just go and fall in love with someone else," I grunted, folding my arms across my chest.

"Love, I don't think it's that easy to just fall in love with someone else," Louis chuckled, leaning back in the seat and placing his feat on the table.

"Well if i c-" I started but got cut off when Harry appeared and spoke over me.

"What's...going on?"

I whipped my head around to look at him but tried my best to avoid eye contact. I sighed and went and sat back down.

"Just discussing dinner plans." Niall lied. I gave him a thankful smile in which he returned.
