Loki told you he had to help Thor with something for the day, so you took the opportunity to have lazy day by yourself. You were lounging on your bed in your oldest and most comfortable pair of sweatpants, watching "American Horror Story" on your laptop. At about halfway through the episode your phone started to ring. You groaned to yourself before looking at it, annoyed at whoever decided to interrupt your lazy day. When you picked it up it was Loki calling you, and you found yourself less annoyed but still in a sassy mood.

"Hey, you've reached (Y/N) she is currently wearing her lazy pants and in the middle of an episode of American Horror Story so this better be good." You giggled at yourself and heard Loki chuckling at you as well.

"I promise you this is very important, and I'm going to make it up to you." You smirked at his comment.

"Alright, what's so important?" You asked knowing that the moment he answered, you were going to have get dressed.

"I will tell soon, I just need you to do something for me first." You didn't answer him, just let him finish his request. "I need you to get dressed, something nice but not too fancy. Then grab the bag in the closet and meet me outside as soon as possible."

"What bag in the closet?" You asked scrunching up your face in confusion.

"You'll know it when you see it, I'll see you soon." With that he hung up before you could ask any more questions. You huffed and walked over to the closet. You opened it to find a small duffle bag on the floor, fully packed, you figured it must be the bag that Loki had told you about and put it on the bed so you wouldn't forget it. Then you grabbed a nice skirt and tank top to put on before looking at your shoes to choose a pair. You decided on a pair of nice black sandals and placed them next to the bed. then you got dressed, put on your shoes and makeup before grabbing the duffle bag and heading out to find Loki. When you made it outside you looked around for a minute before you finally spotted Loki. He was standing a few feet away from the door, leaning against the side of the building hands in the pockets of his long black coat. He smiled when he saw you and you both took a few steps toward each other. When you reached each other Loki leaned down and kissed your cheek.

"You look absolutely gorgeous." He said and you blushed a bit at him. What that man's voice could do to you, particularly when he was complimenting you, it was...well, godly.

"Thank you, I believe you wanted this." You said holding out the bag from your closet.

"I told you it would be easy to find." Loki smirked as he took the bag from you putting the strap over his shoulder. You rolled your eyes at his comment, still smiling though.

"Alright horns, where are we headed?" Instead of telling you Loki chuckled and wrapped his arms around you tightly.

"Hold on." He said and you wrapped your arms around his neck as a whirl of wind an color erupted around you. Of course, he was taking you to Asgard. A few moments later the two of you were standing in front of Heimdall on Asgard. The guardian smiled at the two of you.

"Have a nice night you two." He said before Loki took your hand and led you to the harbor. You knew immediately that you were headed for your special island. When you reached the island you found there was something new waiting for you there. Nestled among the trees there was a cabin, a tiny one room cabin that was absolutely beautiful. Loki began leading you towards it.

"Did you build this?" You asked Loki.

"I had it built for us, and as a surprise for you. When I said I helping Thor out earlier I was really up here checking on the cabin and preparing for your arrival."

"Preparing for my arrival?" You were wondering what more he could have possibly done to make this night better.

"Yes, and I would love to show you, but first let's drop off your bag." He continued to pull you towards the cabin. Inside was a massive bed covered in black silk bedding, that was most likely going to end up on the floor later that night. Loki took your bag over to the closet and placed it in inside. Then he walked over to another door which he opened and gestured to. "This way my love." You smiled and walked out the door onto a porch overlooking the sea. Loki followed you and offered you his arm to take. You gladly accepted it, and he led you off the porch and down a stone walkway through a few trees. When you emerged from the trees you were standing in darkness on the beach, just able to make out a few unrecognizable shapes. You gave Loki a questioning look an he flashed you a devilish smirk before snapping his fingers. At the snap lights erupted all around you, and the middle of a circle of lanterns a table stood set for the two of you. You gasped at the sight and Loki pulled you towards the table. He pulled out your chair for you and once you had sat down he sat opposite you. Then he raised his glass and waited for you to do the same.

"What are we toasting to?" You asked smiling at your unbelievably incredible boyfriend.

"To us." He responded before you clinked glasses and both took a sips of your drink. You continued to eat and talk for quite awhile, until eventually you had both finished your meals. When you did Loki suddenly grew rather quiet and seemed a bit nervous.

"Are you alright?" You asked giving him a concerned look.

"I'm fantastic, it's just...there's something I need to say." Now you were the nervous one, your heart beating a little faster.

"What is it Loki?" At this he reached across the table and took your hand in his, staring at you with a small smile on his face.

"(Y/N) you are the best part of my life. Ever since we met you have been making my life better, and you have not only become a part of my life, you have become the best part of my life." As he spoke Loki started to stand and walk over to your side of the table. "You are the part of my life that I never want to loose."  Loki then got down on one knee in front of you placing an open box on the table, inside there was an emerald engagement ring. "My heart is entirely yours and I have more love for you than I ever imagined possible. Will you marry me?" Loki had tears in his eyes at this point and so did you. Before you could even get the word 'yes' out of your mouth you found yourself throwing your arms around Loki's neck, tackling him in a kiss on the sandy beach.  When you finally pulled away Loki was smiling at you still laying on the beach. "Please tell me that's a yes."

"There are no words in the nine realms to tell you how happy I would be to marry you." At this his smile widened and he reached over you to grab the ring off the table. He handed it to you.

"Look at the inside before I put it on your finger." You looked inside the band and found a beautiful inscription that read: You're in my veins

"It's perfect." You said tears falling from your eyes onto your fiance. He took your left hand gently in his and slipped the ring onto your finger, before kissing the back of your hand. You hugged him again, and then suddenly he stood still holding on to you. Then he moved one of his arms to place under you legs as he lifted you into his arms bridal style. Then he started carrying you back down the path to your cabin. Yup, those sheets are not going to be staying on the bed tonight. You thought to yourself smiling up at Loki.
