"Liam, wait. Let me explain." I hear Harry say as he walks down the stairs. I get off the bed and follow both boys. Once I got downstairs, I saw Harry and Liam talking by the front door. I stand by the foot of the staircase, not wanting to disrupt their conversation.

"Sorry, I shouldn't have jumped into conclusions. I thought she was cheating on me, with you." Liam says, still not noticing that I was standing by the staircase.

"It's okay, lad. But you should trust Lexi. You know she'd never do a thing like that to you." Harry says. Liam replies with something that I wasn't able to hear well. Harry looks at the staircase and sees me, giving me a reassuring smile. "You two work this out. I better go." he says, turning the door knob and walks out the house.

Liam looks at me with an apologetic look and walks towards me. He puts his hands in his pockets and looks straight into my eyes. "I'm sorry, love. I shouldn't have jumped into conclusions." he apologizes.

I smile, "It's ok, Li. I would have done the same thing if I saw you hugging a girl while you two sat on a bed." I reply. He smiles as he tucks a strand of my hair behind my ear. "So, have you thought about it?" I ask, hoping that he had.

He looks down at the floor, "I need some time, Lexi." he sighs, looking back up at me. "I need time to find a way that would be good for the both of us. A way in which we can still keep this relationship going. I just don't feel comfortable not having you around and not knowing what you're doing and - "

"And you're worried that I might cheat on you." I interrupt, knowing it was on his mind and that it was what he was going to say.

He shakes his head, "I never said that." he says.

"But you were thinking it." I reply. "Maybe Harry's right. You should learn to trust me, Li." I say, getting quite mad. He didn't trust me enough to know that I would never cheat on him. "Why don't I give you some time to think about whether or not you will be able to trust me." I tell him. I turn around and go back up to my bedroom, slamming the door behind me.

-

I wake up at around three in the afternoon. I've slept for a good two hours and I've had enough sleep for today. I get out of bed and head downstairs, hoping that Liam had already left. But he was sitting on the couch when I entered the living room. He was talking with someone on the phone.

"Yes, I'd like you to find one in New York." I hear him say. "No, I'll still keep the one in London." I sit next to him and he smiles instantly when he sees me. "Okay. Please call me at once. Thanks." he says, ending the call. He shoves his phone back in his pocket and turns to look at me.

He holds both my hands as we sit there, looking at each other. "Lexi, I'm very, very sorry." he apologizes. "My reaction was unacceptable, immature and I was being selfish and inconsiderate. I know it's as hard for you as it is for me. I know that you want to pursue your dreams, and I honestly want you to." he looks at our hands and takes in a deep breath. "I'm sorry I doubted you. I'm sorry for jumping into conclusions. I know that you would never cheat on me. I'm sorry for not trusting you. You probably hate me but I promise you one thing, I will trust you now more than ever."

I smile and place my index finger under his chin, lifting his face up so that he'd look at me. "Liam," I sigh. "I would never hate you, no matter what. I know that it's hard to trust people, but I'd appreciate it if you will trust me." I tell him.

"I know and I promise I will trust you." he replies. "And I'll prove it to you, I promise." he adds. I smile at him and he leans in, giving me a kiss. "There's something that I'd like to tell you." he says, breaking the kiss.

"What is it?" I ask, our foreheads still against each other.

"I was on the phone with my manager and I told her to look for a house in New York." he tells me. "I want us to have a house there so that you won't have to live in an apartment there and so that I won't have to stay in a hotel when I go there to visit you."
