This is it.

The day we've all been waiting for.

I take one last look at myself in the mirror, asking myself if it's really my reflection that I'm looking at. I looked too ... perfect. Bella Cullen would have been jealous. I'm kidding.

"I still can't believe that we're in the Versailles palace." Alice gushes, taking a look around the room for the hundredth time.

Yup, that's right. Liam was able to pick the most beautiful spot for our wedding - the Versailles Palace. The wedding will be out in the garden and the reception inside the palace. It was beyond beautiful. Everything a girl could dream of.

"Beautiful." Dad's voice surprises me, making me lose my balance a bit. He rushes over to my side making sure I wouldn't fall. He chuckles, "Wouldn't want the bride to mess up her dress, do we?"

I laugh, "Nice catch." I tell him.

Then we hear a gasp by the door, making us look in that direction. "Oh, my baby!" it was my Mom. She rushes to me and gives me the tighest hug ever.

"Mom, I can't breathe." I say, trying to catch some breath.

She finally loosens her grip on me and looks at me from head to toe. "You look so beautfiul." she gushes, making me blush a bit. And that's when I see tears escaping her eyes. "Oh, I'm sorry darling. I didn't mean to cry." she looks around the room, scanning for a tissue.

I laugh, "It's okay Mom. Just don't make me cry because then El and Perrie would kill me if I ruined my makeup."

And just on cue, the two girls walk in the room with bright smiles on their faces. With bouquets in hand, then walk over to me, taking one last look at my makeup - making sure it was perfect.

"It's time!" El chirps, clapping her hands in excitement.

"Ready?" Dad asks, as I take his elbow.

"Ready to walk me down the aisle?" I ask back, smiling with happiness and nervousness. He nods, "Don't make me trip, okay?" I tell him, taking in deep breaths. He chuckles, as we walk out of the room followed by Mom, Alice, El and Perrie.

Perrie rushes to my side, handing me my phone. "Liam sent you a text." she says, smiling widely.

I take my phone from her to see that indeed, Liam had sent a text. I open it, feeling nervous all of a sudden. What if he has cold feet? What if he changed his mind and doesn't want to marry me? Putting those negative thoughts at the back of my mind, I read his text.

I love you. See you in a few minutes. I can't wait to spend forever with you.

A tear escapes from my eye and I wipe it away before Perrie could see it. I smile, typing in a reply.

I love you too. I'm almost there. Wait a little longer. xoxo

I give my phone back to Perrie, knowing that she was peeking at my phone the whole time. We continue walking towards the door which would eventually lead to the garden.

"I love you, sweetheart." Dad says as the bridesmaids walked down the aisle.

"I love you Dad." I reply, giving him a kiss on the cheek.

The bridal march stars to play and everyone stands up on their feet and look at my direction. Dad and I push open the door only to have our jaws hanging as we see the whole garden. Liam had made sure that I didn't take any part in the decorations committee so that I would be surprised. Indeed, I was.

The whole place was like from a dream. The chairs were covered in white cloth with red ribbons at the back. The sun was just setting, giving just the right amount of light needed. The sky was clear as could ever be. The aisle was covered in petals of red roses. And there by the fountain were the bridesmaids slash maid of honors - Perrie, Eleanor and Alice, as well as the bridesgroom slash bestmen - Harry, Louis, Zayn and Niall. And not to forget the groom - Liam who was waiting for me with a smile from ear to ear. I swear I just saw a tear roll down his cheek.

Dad and I walk down the aisle, taking each step with care. The closer I was to Liam, the excitement grew and grew. Finally, we had reached the fountain and Dad shook Liam's hand. Before Dad took his seat, he gives me a kiss on the cheek. Liam takes my hand and whispers into my ear.

"Ready to spend eternity with me?" he asks.

"Only if you are." I reply, giving his hand a gentle squeeze.

"I, Liam James Payne, take thee, Alexandria Higgins, to be my wedded Wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better for worse, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part, according to God's holy law, and this is my solemn vow." He takes a breath before continuing. "With this Ring I thee wed, with my body I thee worship, and with all my wordly goods I thee endow: In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen." Liam slides the wedding ring on my ring finger with a bright smile on his face.

Then it was my turn, "I, Alexandria Higgins, take thee, Liam James Payne, to be my wedded Husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better for worse, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love, cherish, and to obey, till death do us part, according to God's holy law, and this is my solemn vow." I slide the wedding ring on Liam's finger.

"You may now kiss the bride." the priest says.

Liam takes off my veil from my face, cups my face in his both his hands, and gives me the most passionate kiss ever to exsist. He punches the air with his hand, making the crow erupt in cheers and whistles from the boys.

He ends the kiss, with our foreheads against each other. "I love you. And I'll love you till my last breath."

"Here's to us spending forever together." I say, leaning in for another kiss.

Last first kiss, forever.
