The next day, Rosabelle took her time to go to Loki. She was still a bit scared at what would happen to her life if he was to heal. Maybe her dad and friends were right; Loki was too dangerous to be trusted.
But the way he looked at me, Rosabelle thought. He wanted help. . .
She snapped out of her thoughts when Clint suddenly spoke up. "Hey kiddo, you okay?"
"Yeah, why wouldn't I be?"
"I dunno. . ." he shrugged. "You seem. . .quiet." Rosabelle sent him a look.
"I'm always quiet."
"I know!" he defended himself, raising his hands up in mock surrender. "But you seem. . .quieter." Clint peered down at his watch. "And you are out of schedule. You would be at Loki's side at ten in the morning sharp. It's ten fifteen."
"I know," she sighed, "I just have a lot on my mind."
"Want to talk about it?"
"What if you guys are right?" Rosabelle asked him. He sent her a look of confusion. "What if Loki will hurt me?" Unaware that Clint and the others saw Loki was in fact awake and not harming her, she looked down worried. "What if he will kill me? Or brainwash me?"
"Rosabelle. . ." Clint hesitated. "I don't think. . .he will."
"Really?" Rosabelle looked at him shocked. "Why?"
"Well, for one. . ." he shrugged. "You are the first person that have showed kindness after escaping from being tortured."
"True. . ." Rosabelle pursed her lips in thought.
"And the fact that he calms down when he's around you." Clint added. And that he is awake and just watches you when you're not looking. . .
"So I am okay then? He won't harm me?"
"From what I could see? Nope." Clint shrugged. They stood outside of Loki's room. "Well, see you later sport."
"See you."
"Same time I pick you up?"
"Yeah." she nodded. "Why do you guys escort me around now?"
"We have a criminal in our tower." Clint stated. "Better safe than sorry."
"True." she sent him a small kind smile. "See you later Clint."
"See ya Rosabelle."

Where is she? Loki wondered. She always comes early on time. . .
Seconds passed, soon minutes. Loki started to panic and almost lose his façade. Twenty minutes passed, and the sound of his door opening and closing tore him away from his panicked thoughts. Familiar footsteps came from the doorway, making him relax slightly, pretending to be in a coma still. "Hey," she whispered, "sorry I took a while. I was a bit caught up in thoughts." He heard her shuffle slightly in her seat. He then felt a hand on his, the other hand lightly brushing against his sewn lips, making his heart accelerate. Since he was connected to a heart monitor, Rosabelle saw and heard it. "Why do I make your heart accelerate?" she whispered, though she didn't remove her hands away from him. "Listen," she said, "Dad and the others, they're trying to tell me that you're dangerous."
Obviously I am, he thought. But I won't harm you.
"They're telling me that after you're all healed, you'll seek out revenge on us."
What?
"Is it true? I mean. . .will you go after me too?" Loki couldn't help but feel a pang go through his chest at her words. Rosabelle had been nothing but kind to him, he wouldn't want to hurt her. He then decided to do something risky again.
"I would never hurt you, darling." he thought to her. He heard her gasp slightly, the hands resting on him disappearing. It took everything in him not to frown and keep a blank face.
"Did you just. . ." she whispered.
"Don't be alarmed, my love." he told her quickly. "I'm not going to harm you. I just want to talk to you. Please. You're the only person who has shown me nothing but kindness."
"O. . .okay." she stuttered. She hesitantly placed her hands in his. "How are you?"
Keeping to his comatose form, he answered her. "I feel numb."
"Well, that's what happens when you're in a coma." she said.

Rosabelle couldn't help but be amazed at what was happening to her. She was communicating with a murderer through her mind. Her mind! It was startling. "So. . ." she said gently. "Are you okay?"
"I'm fine." came the reply in her mind. "I have you by my side."
"Wait. . .you heard me?" she asked with a small smile.
"I have always heard you, my dear." he answered. "You keep me sane."
Rosabelle chuckled at his reply, gazing down at her lap with a blush, despite no one could see her. "Well," she said softly, "at least you're healing well." Rosabelle then remembered his hands. "Your hands, however." She placed her hand in his broken one that had his fingers sticking out in different directions. "They couldn't do anything about it. I could, though!" Rosabelle smiled when an idea crossed her mind. "I can fix your hands!" She released his hand and started pacing around, her mind full of ideas on how to help him. She's good with engineering thanks to her father, so she could make something for him to help fix his hands -
   "Hello? Where are you?"
"Oh! Right." she mumbled, sitting back in her seat, grabbing his hand again. "I'm afraid I will have to cut this visit short. I have an idea."
Before the demigod could say anything, Rosabelle was gone in a flash.
