Chapter 9

*ok if you guys go back and check in chapter 7 I changed Starlins dad to Luke instead of Ashton*

Luke's p.o.v

"Star! Starlin where are you baby?" I yelled frantically as I searched through the water. I took in a huge breath of air and went under. I opened my eyes and looked around trying desperately trying to catch a glimpse of her. My eyes were burning insanely bad but I didn't care. I came back above the water and and kept look. I glimpsed behind me and saw the rest of the boys in the water also looking, and Michael holding Alex to his chest as she cried over on the shore. I looked about into the water and heard a small gasp come from a few feet in front of me. I swam over there began looking until I felt something brush against my leg and saw Starlins tiny form starting to sink

"Star!" I yelled as I dove down into the water. I grabbed her and pulled her out of the water. I cradled her into my chest as I watched her eyes close

"Star keep your eyes open baby" I said to her as I began swimming towards the shore

"Harry call 911!" I yelled to him. He quickly got out of the water and grabbed his phone. I finally got back to the shore and carried Star far enough away from Alex the she couldn't see her. The boys all kneeled around me and Star as I laid my head down on her chest trying to find any form of a heart beat. I heard a faint bumping but it wasn't very strong

"S-she's not breathing..." Calum said

"I'm so sorry princess..." I said quietly. I plugged her nose and took a breath and pressed my lips over her mouth and breathed out. I sat up and placed my hands over her chest and began applying  pressure

"1 2 3 4 5" I counted and did it again

"It's not working!" I exclaimed frantically. Our heads snapped up when we heard sirens in the back ground. I looked down at Starlin and scooped her up bridal saddle and began sprinting up the hill towards the medics

"Please help her" I exclaimed as one of then took her from my arms and laid her down on a gurney. They began checking her heart and asked how long she had been out

"I don't know..uh...about 3-5 minutes" I explained and they continued their work

"You can't all fit in the ambulance so I need to know who the father is and the rest of you can follow in your own cars" the man explained quickly as the other loaded her into the van

"I am!" I yelled out as I climbed in and sat on the small bench next to the gurney Starlin was passed out on. I looked out and saw the boys and Alex run towards the garage and hop in the Ford e350 xlt. The paramedic closed both the doors, climbed in on the other side across from Star and slipped a breathing mask over her mouth and nose.  I felt the car jerk forward as we began leaving and heard the sirens blaring. He continued to do other things trying to stable her until we reached the hospital. As soon as the car halted the doors were swung open and men in paramedic/nurse uniforms grabbed the gurney and pulled it from the truck. I ran along beside it until a young female nurse stepped in front of me as they turned into a room

"Hey! Let me through that's my daughter" I exclaimed as I tried to push past her

"I'm sorry sir you can't go in there while they perform surgery" she explained still holding me in place

"S-surgery?" I asked stopping as my eyes grew wide and I stared down at her

"Yes sir...your daughter has not been breathing for to long...they must have surgery to get her heart going and her lungs freed from all the water she swallowed" the nurse explained. I felt someone grab me from behind as I began to fall. I looked back and saw Harry standing there looking at me with sadness written all over his face. I turned around and wrapped my arms around his neck as I began to cry. I felt the other boys wrap theirs arms around me and Harry as we all just stood like that in the middle of the hallway outside the surgery room. We broke from the hug a few minutes later and we all walked handing hand out into the waiting room. There were a group of girls sitting there, probably waiting for a family member or friend
