"Thanks again for this......" I trailed off because I forgot her name once again.

"Liv." She repeated for about the millionth time that day.

I nodded, clicking my fingers. "Liv, I've got to remember that." I said, fixing my shirt which showed that worked there.

A week had passed since Damon and I made it 'home'. Most of the time, I spent in my room trying to think of ways that I could help or contact Kai. Nothing worked and I was going insane, Damon would see it and decided that I get a job to distract myself.

So I got a job from Liv at a small bar and Damon introduced to some of his friends and his brother.

I ran my hand through my hair and readjusted my skirt. One of Damon's friends, Caroline, instantly befriended me and she took me shopping because I had no clothes.

"Look like you've got your first customer." I heard Liv say.

Zapping away from my thoughts, I looked at a guy with blonde hair and green eyes, sitting at a table. I gave her a smile. "Wish me luck."

Liv chuckled. "Good luck."

I walked over to him. "Hi, how can I help you?"

He looked at me, his eyes traveling up and down and I couldn't help but roll my eyes while I kept my false smile. "I'll just have a glass of Whiskey." He said, I nodded and scribbled it down.

"Anything else?"

He ran his hand through his hair. "No thank you, dear."

"Alright then." I flashed another fake smile before walking back to the bar to make his drink.

"He was staring at my butt wasn't he?" I asked when I reached Liv again to make the drink. She nodded and I huffed. "Creep."

"Hey calm down, it just shows he likes you." She told me then nudged my arm. "Plus he's kind of cute."

I scoffed. "Are we looking at the same person?"

Liv laughed, nodding her head. "What's wrong?" Her eyebrows raised. "You seeing someone?"

"I see a lot of people, Liv. That's what eyes are for."

Liv rolled her eyes. "You know you what I mean."

I shrugged. "It's complicated."

"Please you haven't been with anyone sin-" She stopped herself.

"Since who?" I wondered, raising my eyebrows with confusion. Liv shook her head. "Who was I with, Liv?"

She didn't reply. "Its doesn't matter, Ra-Riley."

I fused my eyebrows. "What were you going to call me?"

"Nothing."

I turned around to face her, my arms folded. "Liv tell me."

Her eyes remained focused on the bar. "Riley, it's nothing don't worry."

"Fine." I spat. I huffed, shaking my head. "And why is that creep staring at me?"

Liv snorted a laugh. "Maybe he thinks you're pretty."

I scoffed. "I know I'm beautiful Liv, I just don't need guys staring at my butt every time I turn around." I replied, leaving to give the guy his drink.

I couldn't help but smile myself as I set the glass in front of the guy. He thanked me with a grin. I nodded and walked back to Liv. She was still laughing and I pulled out my phone.

Damon and his brother, Stefan, had bought me a load of new things to help me settle in with reality. It helped me a lot and they even allowed me to stay with them, most since I refused to move when Damon tried to kick me out.
