So I found this on Insta and couldn't resist. Sorry! XD

The horse's feet clomped against the muddy soil, leaving a trail of its own prints. Seemingly forever in front of them sat prints of large feet that belonged to Him. He was the kingdom's monster, the kingdom's menace. He wasn't human, that was for sure. His feet were much too wide and bear-shaped to be human. No one knew exactly what He was, speculation stated He was a bear-human mixture: fur and body of a bear yet could speak and walk like a human. Mitch was about to find out though.
The king had forever sent his knights out on missions to find and seize the creature. Most never returned, those who did return had not seen or heard the beast. Only one man ever returned from seeing the beast. He had become a shell however: slashed throat rendering him mute, eyes gorged out, ears bit off, skin shredded and burnt beyond feeling, tongue missing. He could do nothing but convulse whenever approached. The doctor had tried everything they had to fix the hero, but they had no such luck. No one else had ever succeeded like this man did.
You have probably been wondering why this Mitch boy is so important; why you should waste your time to hear about this boy. Well, Mitch had convinced the whole kingdom that he'd find the beast and bring Him beheaded to the king, for He had kidnapped the kingdom's princess.
And now Mitch rode, forest getting thicker and a nauseating smell filling his nose. Legend said that this signified you were close to the beast. Mitch slowed his steed to a trot and looked around. The dark around him making him nervous. Had night fallen already? He listened carefully and hear groans of a zombie near him. He turned around to see a skeleton with his bow raised. He yelled for his horse to run, the trusty steed galloping away from the near-by mobs and deeper into the forest. The stench from earlier grew stronger until it was unbearable. The horse reared as they came towards the source of the stench: a large pile of starving zombies trying to feed off each other. They had fallen into a ditch and seemed too lazy to climb out. Once Mitch and his horse reached the edge of the ditch they all began to crawl up towards the pair. The horse spun around to see they had been cornered by a cluster of skeletons and creepers. Prepared to face death, Mitch looked away from the mobs and missed as light footsteps rushed towards them. A figure grabbed the reins of the horse from Mitch's grasp and pulled the horse down a narrow and winding path. The figure than jumped up behind Mitch.
"Keep 'er going this way. And don't look back." The sweet voice of the princess spoke and Mitch ordered the horse faster. He heard bow shots being fired over and over again, yet they sounded too close for it to be skeletons.
The path road on for quite a while more before they reached the end of the path. "Alright girl. You're gonna have to trust me here. Hop down boy, let me get your horse somewhere safe." The princess ordered and Mitch obeyed. She was loyalty after all. He watched as she shooed the horse into a small barn and closed the doors, locking the iron mechanisms tight. "Now, we go up." Mitch looked up and saw vines leading up to some sort of light in the tree. The princess began up the vines, Mitch following carefully after.
Once at the top of the vines, two furry paws grabbed the princess and lifted her up. She squeaked in surprise but Mitch took this as fear and rushed up faster. Once he climbed over the edge of the flooring he saw a scene unfolding. The furry creature, the one who terrorized the kingdom, was holding onto the princess as she tried to wrestle free. Mitch advanced two steps closer and drew his sword.
"Release her." Mitch growled to Him, anger in his eyes. He turned around and looked at Mitch funny until he saw the sword and placed himself in front of the princess. He growled at Mitch and the princess grabbed at his arm. This enraged Mitch more and he stepped closer, angering Him more.
"Jerome, he wouldn't hurt me. If he wanted me hurt he'd have done it by now. You, drop your weapon. You're scaring him." The princess intervened, only bringing anger to Mitch.
"I'm scaring this beast? Ha, if he's scared he should be. Do you know how many of your father's men he's killed?"
"He didn't kill any of them. He's nice. They get themselves killed in that forest."
"Then what happened to the man who came back? Hm? What's his story for that?"
"He tried to save him. He risked his life to bring him to the outskirts of the kingdom. He was trying to help."
"By terrorizing and killing us? Sure is helpful." Mitch walked closer and swung his sword at the beast, Him moving to shield the princess. "Let her go. It's me you want." Mitch said as he noticed the beast was holding her protectively. He turned around and faced Mitch. Mitch gulped slightly as He studied Mitch. He shrugged and picked Mitch's sword from his hand and threw it to the side.
"You seem nice. And very very scared. I don't hurt unless you hurt friends. She is friend. Don't hurt her and we good." The creature grumbled brokenly, pausing to think of the words.
"She's being held prisoner. You kidnapped her. That's not something you do to a friend."
"My father said I was kidnapped? No no. I ran away." The princess said from behind Him. Mitch glanced at her.
"Why?" Mitch asked and the girl swished her hair to one side. He now noticed she was in hunting clothing and had her hair sloppily braided behind her head.
"My father wanted me to be a perfect lady who'd wed whomever could bring him back a poor animal dead. I was not having it. I took self defense lessons behind his back and learned how to survive out in these woods. When I ran away, Jerome found me and took me in."
"Who's Jerome? Is that His name?" Mitch asked, slight venom escaping on the word 'His'.
"Yes. Name Jerome. What your name?" He asked, making Mitch step back slightly. He wasn't liking how close they were.
"Mitchell Hughes. Your father sent me to retrieve you M'lady." He aimed the last part at the princess and looked at her for help.
"My father sent you to get me? Were you the best he had?" The princess sneered and scoffed.
"So what if I was? I found you didn't I?" Mitch set himself higher and smirked at the princess.
"Cocky much. No wonder my father sent you. He wanted you gone." Mitch's smirk faltered. "And I won't be going back with you. I'm happier here."
"I don't see how. At least at the kingdom you had humans to talk to. People who could actually speak English." Mitch spat, attacking Him with his words. The beast approached him continuously until Mitch hit the wall.
"You very mean. But very pretty lips." The beast cooed the last part quietly before pecking Mitch's lips carefully. Mitch wanted to feel repulsed, disgusted, but the kiss, although for a second, made his whole body flutter with warmth.
"You'll have to do a lot if you expect me to change my mind about you." Mitch grumbled quietly.
"Okay. I start with this." The furry creature kissed Mitch on the lips, Mitch's hands finding their way into the brown, soft fur. His hands held onto Mitch's hips now as the two kissed, lack of oxygen making the two split.
"I guess it'll help." Mitch softly replied.
"Now I love the fact that you two have found common ground by swapping saliva but I'm gonna head to bed. Enjoy yourselves tonight, but please not too much. I'd like to sleep." The princess huffed before walking off.
"Don't be sad Meech, she do that all time. Very bored very soon." The creature spoke as Mitch watched her walk away.
"I'm not sad. Just concerned. It's normal, I assume you've felt it too? Where you're really worried about someone, but not quite enough to keep you distracted?" The fur on His head bobbed as He nodded.
"I know name is Jerome, but call me Biggums. It a- a- nice? Yeah nice word to Baccas like me." The creature explained after Mitch had relaxed again.
"Alright Biggums. Well, I'm kinda tired. Where would you like me to sleep tonight?"
"My bed. Very comfy. We share, okay?"
"Yeah, sure."
