When I woke up, I decided to visit the prisoner in my basement. I took two green apples, and two bottles of water with me. She was sitting in the corner, watching everything.

'Probably scared if she turnes her back we'll kill her. Idiot.'

I sit in the middle of the room so she has room, and I have space. She watches me as I take a bite of one apple, and drink some water. I sit there and pull out the book I brought down. I sit there, not talking until she does. I drink more water, then take another big bite of my Granny Smith apple. I chew slowly, and make a big deal of swallowing.

"What do you want mutt?" She snaps finally. I smile.

"I want to talk to you, Vivian right?" I keep reading. "I wanted to talk about your Council." I peek at her, then read.

"I will never talk about my Council." She says.

"Ah, come on, Vivian." I smile and show her the other apple. "I'll give you this Granny Smith."

"You can't bribe a Hunter, Alpha."

"Really? I thought after not eating all night you would be hungry. Guess I should wait longer." She frowns.

"Hunters are used to not eating for days, only surviving on water." I smile.

"Fine. Then I'll give you the water." I offer the water. "And if you think it's poisoned, I'll take a drink of it. I know you know werewolves carry no poison and are just as likely to die of poison as humans."

"That doesn't mean I'll take the water." I smile.

"Fine. Then I'll finish off the little lunch of ours."

I sit there and finish my apples and one water. I look at her, but she just gives me a nasty look. I shrug then get up, marking my place, and starting to head up the stairs. I debate on leaving the water on the stairs to see if she'll take it or not. I look at her, then put the water on the third stair from the ground. I walk upstairs, shutting the door.

I smell Hue's cooking and yawn, then walk to the kitchen and watch him cook. He has his jeans on still, never took them off last night. But I let him take his shirt off since I like hearing his heartbeat without his shirt to muffle it. I go up and sit on the counter and peek at what he's cooking.

"Eggs, pancakes, bacon, and..." I try to identify what the last thing is, but it looks just like milky eggs with brown specks in it.

"French toast. See the bread?" He points. "When the rest is almost down, I'll soak the bread in the stuff."

"Doesn't french toast have cinnamon?" I ask.

"Yea. Why?" I make a face.

"I'm allergic to cinnamon. It makes me sick." He frowns.

"I didn't know that. Well, I guess you won't have french toast." He says.

"Yea." I get up and snatch a thing of bacon, loving the taste on the wolf side more than the human. "Yum, yet uck." He laughs.

"Not much of a meat person?"

"Yea. I'm not a meat person. But, the wolf part of me loves it." I smile and he laughs.

"So hows our prisioner?" He asks.

"She's..." I think. "on alert."

"Well, I would too." He says.

"I know. Now, can we eat? I'm starved." He smiles.

"Okay, okay." I smile big.

I split my food in half, eating mine fast then I take the rest and go downstairs. The steam still coming up, and I bring a new carton of fresh O.J. and an unopened jug of milk. I noticed that the water bottle was empty where I left it. I smile that she drank it. I sit down in the middle again, putting her food in front of me. She looks at me.

"Hi Vivian. Or do you like Viv better?" She stays silent, but I see her eyes looking at the hot food. "Hue made breakfast. Well, he always makes breakfast. I figured since you didn't want the apple, you'd want eggs, bacon, pancakes, and french toast. I also brought some regular toast. So, go ahead dig in." I push the food to her, not a bit spilling or falling off the plate. "I hope your hungry, cause I hate wasting food."

She picks up the fork, watching me nervously. I just sit there, waiting. She picks up the plate and pushes the eggs around for a second. Hue made both scrambled and dippy eggs, since he knows I liked both. She takes a bite of the eggs, then closes her eyes.

"Hue makes the best eggs. But then, I've only had that little diner that Jynx works at part time, my mothers, and Hue's. Hue makes the best out of all three though. His bacon could be crispier, and I like my pancakes more golden than what he does. And I'm not a fan of french toast," Not gonna tell her I'm allergic to cinnamon. "so that's why you have all of mine. His dippy eggs are good, not the best, but good." She eats. "Good?" She nods. "Want some juice or milk?"

"Juice would be nice... I'm lactosintolerant." I smile and hand her the cartoon. "Can I have a cup?"

"I think it's better out of the carton." She nods then drinks. "Feel better?" She looks at me.

"Why are you being nice to me?"

"I figured you would talk better this way. Plus, I'm not much for toture unless I must." Lie.

"Oh...well I'm still not gonna talk about my Council."

"Fine. But answer me this, why are you protecting them if you thought they had somethign planned? Something that wasn't right or whatever." I ask. "The Council is always right. They do no wrong." I frown, then laugh. "What?"

"They did something to you." I get up.

"The Council is always right. They-"

"Yea, yea. I heard you the first time." I look down at her. "You done?" She nods, and I take her plate and fork. "I'll see ya later, Vivian."

I walk upstairs, letting her keep the O.J., but taking the milk and plate, and fork. I feel her watch me go upstairs, but I ingnor her as I go in my room and grab clothes. I go in the guest room and change.
