Holy Hell! I am sooooo sorry guys! I've been away for months! I have a valid reason though! My tablet broke BUT I officially have my own laptop now and my tablet's fixed! School has caught up to me as well and I have my first three science exams in May, I also did two performances of We Will Rock You (It's a musical and If you've heard of it I played Scaramouche which is one of the main characters). I also noticed that this story has over 2.3K reads so thank you all! This story is coming to a close and this chapter is probably short, we have about three chapters left (which includes this chapter and the Epilogue) so enjoy it while it lasts :)

Anna's P.O.V

Bunny's just returned with a bag of different foods. I only eat a little, Jack will need it when he wakes up.

I'm worried.

Really worried.

What if what that voice in my head said was wrong! What if Jack never wakes up and I'm stuck in these tunnels for the rest of my life with two immortal beings who will never age like me... What if I die alone down here, Bunny getting caught by Pitch and Jack never waking up, Elsa stuck as a nightmare soldier with Sven and Kristoff, Olaf dead forever...

Bunny leaves whilst I'm stuck in the tornado of my thoughts - probably out to get more food, or planning a way to get to Pitch -and I don't notice I'm crying until a soft and slightly cold hand wipes my tears away

Wait. Cold?

"What are you crying for?" a kind voice asks "I'm not going anywhere"

My eyes snap open and I see Jack, eyes open and as happy as ever! A smile breaks out onto my face and I tackle him into a hug

"Jack!" I practically scream, holding onto him as tightly as possible hoping I'm not dreaming. Tears fall from my eyes as I bury my head into the crook of his neck... He smells like peppermint

"Hey... I'm okay. I promise" He reassures me, wrapping his arms around my waist. I feel his warm(ish) breath tickle my neck as he hugs me just as tightly as I do him.

My heart tingles, something I haven't felt in the months between Kristoff's 'death' and Jack's arrival.

It can't be love... can it?... I didn't think I'd be able to feel anything but fear and sadness with everything that's happened... but... Jack's something special, I can feel it. What Pitch said your feelings are starting to chip away at my barrier could these be the feelings he was talking about?

Love.

It's sounds like such a foreign word now. But I do!

I love Jack Frost...

The ground starts violently shaking. My hands find Jack's as we're thrown out of Bunny's tunnels and onto the streets of Arendelle, I look around to see every inhabitant of the kingdom standing in a wide circle several feet away from us. I also see Bunny standing on the roof of one of the stores, looking around in confusion and worry when spotting Jack and I

"What's going on?" Jack asks to no one in particular, his grip on my hands tightening as he looked around

"I think we're breaking something..." I mumble. It sounds stupid I know, but if love breaks Pitch's barrier then maybe I did something by confessing to myself

"Breaking what?" He makes eye contact with me and I think he understood when I looked back "...the barrier...?"

"You didn't by any chance mention something about love in your head did you...?" I ask hesitantly

"Maybe..." he answered "did you..?"

"Maybe..."

I feel myself leaning closer, my eyes slowly closing as my lips meet his. I think the best thing is... he kisses me back. For the first time in forever (hehe) I feel something other than fear and sadness. I feel love and happiness.

Jack's arms snake around my waist as mine wrap around his neck. And we stand there... kissing... getting rid of all the darkness that's surrounding us.

I then hear the sound of glass shattering. Pulling away from the kiss, Jack and I look upwards, seeing Pitch's barrier crack and break into thousands of pieces, falling into the ocean and dissolving into the water. Above us, the moon glows brightly and stars twinkle in the clear night sky, I haven't seen that in months... it's breath-taking

"You infuriating creatures!"

Jack pushes me behind him as Pitch glares daggers at us. Growling as the sand surrounding many of his soldiers slowly falls off in the light of the moon.

"We're winning Pitch." Jack growls "just free the people and leave. Nobody will get hurt"

Pitch smirks

Arms snake around my waist, strong arms and I scream at the top of my lungs, feeling myself get yanked away from Jack and off the floor slightly

"Anna!" Jack cries out, panicked

"You see, that's where you're wrong, Jack. If I let these people go, either you or Anna will pay the price. And I know you don't want your precious believer to get hurt, do you?" Pitch smirks again and I swear I can feel his cockiness and evil from here

"Pitch, I swear if you hurt a hair on her head, you'll be back with your nightmares in a split second" Jack threatens, holding his staff tightly

"Give yourself up then" Pitch held out his hand, waiting for Jack to hand over his staff

I can tell Jack feels like he has no other choice and I watch in disbelief as he twirls his staff and hands it to Pitch.

I suddenly feel a strong burst of energy course through my veins and I break out of the nightmare soldier's hold, sprinting towards Jack as Pitch prepares to attack him.

In one moment, I'm pushing the guy I love our of harm's way

The next, pain shoots through my chest and I hear my name being yelled

After that, nothing...

Then in a few seconds, I feel like I'm floating...

Like I said before, this was short but everything concludes next chapter and then you'll get to see what life is like in the epilogue afterwards. :)
