CHAPTER SIXTY

"It stings." Sehun winced as Baekhyun gently wiped the side of his lip with a cotton ball.

"Stay still Sehun," Baekhyun said. "Paige, why am I doing this and not you?" He asked me.

I gave Baekhyun an apologetic smile as I showed him that I was currently holding an ice pack against Kyungsoo's head.

"You can let go now Paige, don't worry about me." Kyungsoo mutters as he kept squinting his eyes. His head probably hurts a lot.

It hasn't taken that long since Kyungsoo gained consciousness. He said he tried to fight them off while we were gone but there were too many of them. Someone just hit him on the head and he ended up blacking out completely.

"You shouldn't have asked me to leave." Baekhyun sighs as he closed the first aid kit.

"I'm not too hurt anyway." Kyungsoo groaned as he took the ice pack from me.

We were all at Mr. Damon's room right now. Sehun only had minor injuries, thank goodness. According to him, only Aleister went here and Sehun had to protect Mr. Damon.

"I couldn't even do anything." Mr. Damon said as he clenched his fists. He's sitting upright on his bed and he's looking down at his bedsheets.

"Father, you still haven't recovered." Lay said.

"That's not enough reason!" We were surprised when he suddenly raised his voice. "I saw my own son getting hurt in front of my very own eyes and I couldn't even help him." he seethed.

"It's no big deal," Sehun took a deep breath. "It's just a bruise, I've had worse."

I could tell that Mr. Damon is still mad at himself. His knuckles are nearly turning white.

"I never felt so useless my entire life," Mr. Damon said. "Aleister knows my weakness and I hate that he knows how to take advantage of it."

"What did Aleister do exactly?" Tao asked.

Mr. Damon looked like he doesn't want to talk about it so we just faced Sehun.

"He just gave threats. He's nowhere done." Sehun then looked at me worriedly. "I need to protect you Paige... At all costs." he told me.

I gave him a small smile. "We'll all be fine." I said, although I know it sounded kind of forced.

I've had this uneasy feeling ever since Aleister's warning. I'll never get used to these messed up situations, who would be?

"Just don't feel too down father, I know you feel bad but I'm really okay." Sehun told Mr. Damon.

"Thank you," Mr. Damon gave out a forced smile. "Just leave me for now, I need time alone."

The boys looked hesitant but they just followed his orders.

Kyungsoo decided to rest in his room for a while since he still has a bad headache while the rest of us were at the training room.

"You and Tao already got attacked and now this happened... He definitely has more plans up his sleeve." Baekhyun said as I kept dodging and blocking his attacks.

We just decided to do some training since we had nothing better to do. It's also a good way to distract ourselves from what happened earlier.

"Nothing we can't handle." I threw a punch but Baekhyun was able to grab my wrist. I tried to knock him down by sweeping my foot against the floor but he beat me to it.

"You okay?" He immediately asked when I fell on my back.

"You were holding back." I grumbled as I sat up.
