Together

We all cruise on stormy seas,

hands of Fate, these fragile boats she creates.

Papers on deadly waters,

paper boats destined to sink.

I redesigned mine, 'tis my wish.

Heart and soul, I'll be your sail;

we'd cruise this salty ocean,

hand in hand, together.

I'll be your eyes when yours are tired,

your warmth, your shelter, when there is none;

your compass against the wind's cries.

The cargo, unpermitted, unwanted;

the load you painstakingly carry.

It clings and drags ship to dark territories.

Let me take some, tie them to me even for a while.

I'm here;

together we'll sail against these tides.

Together we'll find shore,

drop the anchor; stop this awful bumpy ride.

My dearest paper boat, sail.

We'll face these waves together.

Heart and soul, I'm here.

No matter what.

|I'd gladly stay on the ground with you.
You tipped the jar, yet I didn't have the heart to abandon the water that helped me breathe again. It's my home now. I'll stay, for as long as you need me. |
