Sierra Wilson

I woke up the next morning in my bed, Shawn's scent lingered in the air.

Last night we fell asleep our bodies pressed tightly together as we talked about our dreams and our secrets.

As I was laying there I couldn't help but feel guilty for having Shawn here and stealing kisses but I still don't know if Dillon is cheating on me. What if he's not? what will I do about Shawn?

All I know is that I can't keep leading Shawn on, I can't get too attached. After all if Dillon isn't cheating on me, I still love him.

Shawn and I agreed to have him pick me up at 12, by then Dillon would have left for work.

He's leaving later today but coming home later as well.

I slowly made my way downstairs unsure of where Dillon was.

Downstairs, Dillon lay passed out on the couch, sleeping peacefully.

I quietly began to prepare breakfast, being careful to not wake him.

"Babe, what are you doing" Dillon stirs, voice scratchy and groggy.

"Just making breakfast." I try to muster a smile on my face to hide the fact that I'm extremely guilty and feeling nervous about tonight.

"Good, I was so tired last night" he say, wrapping his arms around my waist from behind, pressing a sloppy kiss on my cheek.

"Babe, you smell... different" his face scrunches up in confusion.

"Kind of musky."

"Oh I was sorting through the bathroom cabinets last night and one of your cologne bottles didn't have a lid on it so I must have spilt some on me" I say, coming up with a lie.

"Oh, that makes sense."

That's the thing about Dillon, he's extremely gullible.

All throughout breakfast Dillon kept checking his phone, smiling at something unknown to me.

I couldn't help but be excited for Shawn to get here, I craved his lips.

At 10:30 I straightend Dillon's tie for him and placed a quick kiss on his cheek, which he did not return, as he walked out the door.

At precisely 11:07 am a knock sounded on the door.

I opened the door to reveal Shawn standing there with a huge smile plastered I his face.

I immediately cupped my hands to his cheeks and pressed my lips forcefully to his.

"Rough morning huh?" Shawn asks, grinning.

"Like you wouldn't believe. Do you wanna come in for a few minutes, I'm not done packing my bag."

He nods his head and enters my living room, taking a seat on the couch.

I run upstairs grabbing the duffle bag I had been using to pack my stuff in, I made sure to grab some over night belongings as well.

Once I was finished I returned downstairs to Shawn.

"Hang on I'm almost done, I'm just gonna leave Dillon a note saying I'm staying over night at a friends house."

I drop my bag on the floor, leaving it at Shawn's feet while I go write out a note to Dillon.

I scribble out a quick note leaving it in the fridge for Dillon to find.

"I'm ready now" I say, returning to the living room.

Shawn extends his arm to me and we walk out to his car.

"So where are we going, just back to your house?"

Shawn shakes his head "I believe you were promised a date."

"Oh, I believe I was" I giggle.

"That's why I am taking you somewhere special."

He continues to drive for another 45 minutes until we turn into a little dirt road leading into a small forest.

Stepping out of the car Shawn opens the trunk, grabbing a basket and blanket in one hand and taking my hand in the other.

We start walking into the forest and we don't stop until we reach a small clearing just by a small river, yet large enough to swim in.

We place the blanket on the ground in front of the river and take our seats.

"I like to come here to write songs" Shawn says, grabbing the basket, pulling out sandwiches, a bag of chips and two paper plates.

For the next hour or two we relax in the mild mid afternoon air, eating and talking.

"Have I told you, you look beautiful today?" Shawn smiles, a gleam in his eye.

I turn my head, trying to hide my blush.

"Come on, come swim with me." Shawn gets up extending his arm to me.

"Shawn isn't it kind of chilly, besides we're gonna get our clothes wet.

"That's why we have extras" he grins.

He holds up 2 outfits, one in each hand. "I took out one of your outfits from your bag so you can change after, just come on, please swim with me, just for a little while."

"Alright fine, but if I get sick it's all you." I poke his chest.

He laughs and pulls off his shirt, exposing his bare chest.

Leaving his pants on he grabs my hand and together we run into the water.

As I hit the water I expect the chills to come but they don't, the water is calm and relaxing, not too cold.

We splash around in the water, having a good time, for the time being I'm not even focused in Dillon and the thought about him cheating on me and our mission for tonight has vanished from my mind.

Shawn seems to have that effect on me, he makes me feel happy, I know I'm safe when I'm with him.

* * *

We climb out of the water shaking ourselves off.

Shawn passes me a towel which he must have packed himself.

That boy is full of surprises.

I dry myself off, slowly peeling off the wet clothing from my body.

I then realize I'm standing in the middle of a forest exposed in my bra and underwear.

"Shawn why are you staring at me" I groan, attempting to cover myself up.

"Because your really pretty" he smirks.

I blush, continuing to put on my clothes.

We finish getting dressed, packing up our belongings and carrying them back to the car.

"Where to next?" I ask, curiosity getting the best of me.

"You'll see" Shawn smiles lightly kissing my forehead.
