Chapter 21- Exam

Aisha - May Allah be pleased with her - said: When I drink water from the pot while in menstruation period and give the pot to the Prophet - Peace be upon him - he drinks from the same place which touched my mouth, moreover, during menstruation, I was eating from the piece of meat and giving the same to the Prophet - Peace be upon him - and the Prophet puts his mouth in the same place of mine.

Marjaan P.O.V

"Ju, wake up. You said five minutes. it's almost half an hour now! I don't like being late. Please, wake up". I tried to wake him up with all my might.

"Assalamualaikum" he smiled sheepishly at me.

"Walaikumassalam, Ju, please get ready fast. I have an exam today. If you make me late today I'm never ever going to let you sleep after fajar" I adjusted my hijab and quickly got his clothes out.

I didn't wait for him to come out from the bathroom. I quickly went downstairs and served breakfast. For once, I was glad my mother-in-law didn't let me do housework. It would have been difficult to focus on my studies and housework at the same time.

I had a glass of milk and a banana. I could never eat breakfast at seven a.m. and there was quite a long distance between his house and my college.

I heard his footsteps and ran back to kitchen so I could make fresh tea. By the time I went back with the tea, he was almost done with breakfast.

"Ju, please eat fast, I have exam today".

"Relaxxxx... chubby, it's just an internal exam. And don't worry, we still have an extra hour". He sipped his green tea and looked at me with a smile. I put on my wedges and took my college bag.

"Chubby, if you're late today, I'll make up for it by taking you out for a movie. But, if we reach early you have to do something for me". He winked at me.

"Okay. Let's see. But, you'll have to tell me what it is first. I won't agree otherwise."

"I can't tell you now. But it's something you can do pretty easily"

"Alright. But, I have exams scheduled for couple of days. So, can we go for the movie after my exams?"

"Sure, Chubby"

We didn't waste much time after that and got on to Faizal's bike. Faizal hadn't taken his bike back since the wedding. We sped away and in no time I reached my college. I had reached before the first bell.

I didn't let him come inside the college with me. I wanted to introduce my friends properly later and I had to do revision as well.

"Take care, Ju. College will get over by 2:30 p.m. Will you come pick me or shall I come by bus".

"Do you know the way to our house?"

"Nope, I'm still not very sure of it."

"You go to your place. I will pick you up from there at 4 p.m. You haven't seen them for a while, right? You can do some catching up too."

"Bye, Ju". I kissed him on his check and rushed inside just as the first bell rang. I could see Diane and Batul completely engrossed in a book.

"Hi, girls!!" I waved my hands at them and ran towards them. I couldn't help but engulf them in a huge bear hug. I had missed them so much.
