Never Be Alone

Chapter 16

There was a clearing and there was a blanket in the middle with candles all around and it was just open space.

"Mason, I....."

"Is it to much? It's to much isn't it."

"No, I mean no one has ever done anything like this."

"Well you deserve this and more."

We slowly walked to the blanket and he helped me sit down and grabbed a basket.

His watch beeped and he smiled.

"Sophia look up."

He pointed at the sky and I looked up and there were shooting stars everywhere.

I smiled and laid back on the blanket and Mason joined me,

"It's beautiful."

Mason shifted his head and looked at me.

"She is " he said

I blushed and kept looking up at the beautiful sight.

"I brought a few snacks I'm not sure what you like so I brought a few different things."

I smiled thanking him. He placed the basket in between us and I looked though it and found there were some strawberries.

"I haven't had strawberries in a long time."

"Really?"

"Yes the Alpha is allergic so he banned them."

"Oh."

I nodded and took a bite and it was so yummy.
We spent most of the night watching the sky or eating.

When it was around three in the morning we finally decided to call it night.
Mason walked me to my door.
He was about to leave when I he turned around.

"There's something I have to tell you" he said

"Okay?"

"I'm leaving for couple of weeks for my job." He said

"Oh" I looked down

"I tried to get out of it but I couldn't but I promise you that I'll be back as soon as I can and Cameron made sure he will be here while I'm gone so whatever you need just ask him"

"You don't have to skip your job for me I'm perfectly fine."

"So this is goodbye?" He said

"No it's more like I will see you later."

He nodded and was about to leave when I grabbed his arm.
He looked at me and I hugged him.
I looked up to him and stood on my toes to be able to reach his cheek and kissed him.

He drove me home and even walked me to the door.

"Thank you Mason for everything, I'll see you later" I said

He smiled and waved goodbye I closed the door and made sure all the windows were locked I went to my room to took a shower and went to sleep.

That day I went to sleep with a big smile on my face.
