Merry Christmas everyone!

Okay, in this chapter I feel like Blaire is growing up so fast. :( I like how childish and naive she is, but I can't keep her that way forever. She has to learn about some stuff sooner or later.

Anyway, tell me how you think the growth of Blaire is in this chapter!

Do you like that I spiced the book up a little? How excited are you guys for the big meeting with all the alphas? To make Blaire go or not to go....

Blaire's POV

Boggle proved to be one of the most difficult games I have ever played. Luke taught me how to play, it's this little four by four board of letter dice and you have to find as many words as you can in the given time. They had to be connected though. And, if we got the same word, that word didn't count.

I learn lots of words from Luke, which I'm quite happy about. I didn't know a lot, but this game helps me. Luke is very nice and let's me get two letter words, even though they aren't allowed in the real game and he can't get them.

Darren comes home, his face blank as usual. "You're free to leave Luke."

He nods. "Goodbye Luna."

"Bye Luke!" I smile. I like him, he's sweet. I hope I get to see him again, he's a good friend.

He leaves, and so I'm left with Darren. I look over at him cautiously. He sighs and cleans up the boggle. Is he unhappy?

"Darren?" I whisper.

"Yes Blaire-Bear?" He looks over.

"You... Okay?" I tilt my head.

He nods a bit. "I'm okay... But there was a change in plans. Do you think you're prepared to meet some more people tomorrow?"

I don't know... I've been so overwhelmed. I mean, James and shopping and everyone in Darren's pack that I've met... Well hey, what's another few people to the craze?

"Why not?" I offer a small smile.

Darren looks awfully surprised, though it turns back to his blank look. "You're serious?"

"My mind is... Already crazy." I shrug.

"That's not quite how you'd phrase that sentence, but I understand what you mean. You don't have to meet them. I can tell them no." Darren explains.

"Who is it?" I frown.

"An alpha and his Luna." Darren replies.

I stiffen a little. "Oh..." I murmur. Those two... "They can... Still come." I say quietly.

"You're sure Blaire?" Darren asks, looking over my face.

"I'm sure." I nod.

Darren takes a deep breath. "I have to warn you... This alpha is very stern and his mate is a little... She's a bit wild."

***

Wild is an understatement. I watch out the window as the car pulls up. The Luna of this pack is in the front, with my werewolf hearing, I can hear her scream singing. Clearly annoying the alpha who looks like something is up his butt.

I learned that from Luke. Early this morning, he told me that phrase and told me to use it on Darren sometime. I promised him I would.

Darren was in the kitchen, talking to some women who were preparing lunch. The two of them get out, some other wolves in the back. I watch them walk up to the door, the Luna looking around with a curious gaze. She had fallen silent now.
