Hey everyone. I have to tell you all, so please don't be angry with me...I'm adding this book to the werewolf genre, but keeping it a DDLG book. I haven't read many, if any on here. Um...I'll do my best to make it please all readers, but I apologize if you don't like werewolves, or the fantasy genre. I really am...I just couldn't help myself... Let me know what you all think, please don't leave rude, or mean comments. I hope you can enjoy and forgive me if I made you upset. :D

Chapter 4

Winter's POV

I winced when one of the other, older men started to clean around the area that hit against the ground. It really hurt, and at the moment I was sitting on the couch whilst getting patched up. The family seemed to be a perfect family other than the lack of female touch, but those stupid twins. God I've never wanted to strangle someone more than I did an hour ago. I was never a violent kid, not until I had to work all the time when I hit 14, then I got angry. I took up a few out of school sports that aren't very...me like. They were more for self defense since I was always closing up, and I had to deal with men that were drunk, and a good 3x bigger than me.

"You broke his nose." I heard Everett laugh out. This made the man cleaning blood from my nose smile and laugh.

"Damn. Where have you been? Those boys are always fighting and no one can ever get a hit in. Not even a slap. But a broken bone, you might have to check your corners every time for the next few weeks. They're a very close nit pair." The guy said and I was thinking of all the ways I could get them pinned down when daddy's voice interrupted me.

"Winter." He said and it was in a very hard voice. I looked up at him and fidgeted when he crossed his arms and leaned slightly to the left. Great, I knew what that meant. I mean he was married to my mother for a good while. "I adore you honey, but you can't break my sons nose. I understand what he said was wrong, and uncalled for. That's been handled. But I don't want another outburst from you. Before this little incident happened I was going to let you know you start school on Monday..." He said. I ignored the last part and stared at him with no emotion for what he said before that.

Everett and the other guy both stared at Mr.Pierce like he had two heads. He pretty much said I didn't belong, and I wasn't his daughter before these boys were his sons.

"Everett?" I said sweetly and confused making Mr.Pierce look at me. I swallowed down the stinging in my eyes.

"Yeah Winter?" He said starting to clean the First Aid kit up.
