Until Forever

Chapter 5

Ian, Melanie, and Anthony were all greeted with good news on October 2nd, 2010. Melanie's mom was okay, and she could go home within the next couple of days. That also meant that Ian comes home, and Melanie is happy again.

All Anthony wanted to do was call Kalel and talk to her. But would he come across as desperate? 'Who cares?' He thought. And he picked up the phone and dialed her number.

"Hello?" Kalel answered.

"Hey Kalel it's me Anthony."

"Oh hi Anthony. I was kinda hoping you would call me."

Anthony's stomach suddenly filled with butterflies. Kalel thought about him?! He still was in denial because he had know clue how some own like her could ever like him.

"You were? Well I've been wanting to call you and I was wondering if you would like to go to the movies tomorrow." Anthony replied to her nervously. 'What if she turns him down? How does he even know that she doesn't have a boyfriend? Anthony, calm down before you have a panic attack,' he had to tell himself. He was so caught up in his thoughts that he barely heard Kalel when she replied.

"Tomorrow? Okay that sounds like fun."

"I'll pick you up at 11:30. Will you text me your address?" Anthony asked her.

"Yeah, I'll see you tomorrow." Then she hung up.

Anthony hung up the phone and sat down on the couch.

'She said yes! She said yes!' Anthony restrained himself from doing some sort of victory dance.

He had to save the excitement for tomorrow.
