Her day didn't begin well. The (H/C) first woke up late because she stayed up late to finish off her homework. So she forgot her breakfast and lunch, her maths textbook and her comfortable headphones.

After getting to high school, she got caught in a rain cloud without her coat and umbrella, meaning she got soaked to the bone on the walk to the other side of campus, which meant she arrived to class with Tanaka and Yuu already there, gawking and laughing at the poor girl's state.

She just glared at the pair, as her shirt clung to her figure, and eventually dried off as the day progressed. As she didn't have breakfast, she didn't concentrate very much in class, then as she didn't have lunch and no money to buy lunch, it just got worse and she was on the verge of collapse when Yuu offered (Y/N) his chocolate bar.

Her eyes widened and she started crying happy tears, hugging her dear friend and nuzzling his neck. "I love you so much!" She wailed loudly in the middle of the gym where they were hanging out, making Yuu blush and Tanaka glomp on them. "We love you too, (Y/N)-chan." The young man with the ice-cream hair said as he rubbed her back and she ate the chocolate, making her happier.

They got back for lunch and everything seems to be getting better, but when last period hit, there was an exam, then she had to stay behind to help the boys train, which meant she would be home late and soaked on the way. It couldn't be helped.
'Fuck you, Mother Nature. On behalf of the weather and my body.' She said to herself as she exited the toilets, her ether setting in.

She went to practice to help the boys, and when she opened the doors, a volleyball was launch towards her face, knocking her unconscious.

After that happened, Asahi ran to her side, Nishinoya was looming above her, worry etched on his sweet features and the team dad was there, hitting Tanaka on the head. "Baka! You shouldn't have hit it that way." He scolded, Suga agreeing in the background.

Yuu knew that she was knocked out, but it still didn't help with the worry. She was just like him; usually energetic, smiley, overly excited over nothing! Nothing could have made him more nervous... Except a Daichiment. Daichiments were rotten to everyone.

Asahi went to the med-bay with her, Nishinoya following behind him and saying he would stay with (Y/N), trying to be confident but the glass-hearted ace just ruffled his small friend's hair with a grin. "Just tell her you like her, Noya. Nothing wrong with that at all!" He then got his hand batted away and his side chopped. "Go back to practice, otherwise you'll get a Daichiment." Yuu scorned Azumane, who suddenly tensed up and ran like he had a badger infected by rabies on his tail.

Noya say on the bed next to his petite girl-friend, and couldn't help but admire the way she looked. Her face looked placid, extremely peaceful, her (H/L) (H/C) was splayed on the pillow beneath her head... But one thing disappointed him.

He couldn't see the beautiful colour of her (E/C) irises through her eyelids.

The gateway to her ever perfecting soul was shielded, and he couldn't see the eyes he had fallen so hard for.

With this, he heaved a sigh, kissing her forehead, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear and heading back to practice, leaving her to rest for a while on the bed.

The moment the gym door flew open, Noya was swung into a hug with Ryū, begging for forgiveness as he balled like a baby over hitting his friend and his best friend's adored one. "PLEASE DO NOT HATE ME, NOYA-KUN! I DID NOT MEAN TO HURT ANYOOOONNNNEEEEE, BRO." Tanaka wailed loudly in the small man's ear, only proving how sorry he was for hurting the beauty girl he called a friend.

"It's all cool, Ryū! She'll be fine, she'll have a bruise... and a concussion, but she'll be good! You can help me get her back to my place. She's staying with me whilst our parents are away with their separate businesses." Tanaka got on his knees and praised Noya for being a saint, although this was mainly to avoid getting himself a Daichiment.

Practice was over within the envy hour, and (Y/N) was out cold... They thought she was comatose, that's how badly concussed she was. It didn't help she had low blood sugar and that she was hormonal.

Tanaka put (Y/N) on his back as Nota grabbed her stuff, constantly hoping she would wake up soon so they could talk. "Oi, Yuu. Have you told her you like her yet?" The libero just blushed at the question the wing spoiler asked. "I... Will tell her when she wakes up. I will tell her how I feel when I know she will hear me!" Yuu said loudly, causing the girl on Tanaka's back to stir slightly but do nothing more. 'At least she's alive... My Daichiment would be death if I did more!" He said in his head with relief.

They soon got to Noya's house, the Guardian Deity quickly unlocking the door so she could be put on the couch. Yuu thanked Tanaka for his help and he apologised his way out the door.
After it was shut, Yuu sat on the couch next to his crush and stroked her cheek, smiling softly. "If only you would open your eyes so I can see them..."

(Y/N) was out cold, but the little movements she gave here and there kept him reassured she would wake up in the morning. Luckily, it would be Saturday the next day.

Yuu, at 11pm, decided he should go and sleep, so he picked up (Y/N) and carried her to his room, and settled on the bed with her, to protect her and be there for when she woke up, which she did.

About 10 minutes later.

"Yuu..." She whispered hoarsely, making the male, who was cradling her carefully, nuzzle into her hair and sigh happily. "Thank god, you're okay!" He exclaimed with glee.

"By the way... I was conscious enough to hear what Baldy and you said about your feelings..." She trailed off, rolling over and nuzzling into his neck to sleep again. "I want you to know that I feel the same." She whispered, falling asleep again.

The libero just smiled, kissed her (S/T) forehead and held her close. "I'm so getting you ice-cream and giving you cuddles tomorrow. That's what tomorrow will be, a relaxing date."
