Kendra's POV:

I opened my eyes to see the bright guest room.

How did I end up on Anakin's bed?

"Anakin?" I called.
"I'm here."

I turned around to see Anakin pulling on his tunic.
"How did I end up on your mattress?"
I watched as he pulled on his belt. "You seemed to be having a nightmare."
I blinked several times. "I did?"
He nodded. "You were crying, and saying something about Ciara." He said, sitting down next to me.

"I can't remember, and I usually remember my nightmares."
He looked at me, knitting his brows. "You can't remember?"
I shook my head. "No."

I looked up as someone knocked on the door, and Padmé stepped into the room. "Good Morning."

I smiled. "Good morning, Milady."
"I hope you both slept well."
Anakin stood up. "Is there anything that you need done?"

She shook her had. "No, I just want to rest today. Soon we'll have to head back to Coruscant where I won't get any sleep."

She had a point. There was so much going on, we were restless.

"I'll fix you something." I said, standing up from the mattress.

Anakin's POV:

I walked outside with Padmé, and sat down on the staircase. She held her cup in her hands as she looked at me.

"I could hear Kendra last night." She said.
"She had a nightmare." I answered. "But she doesn't remember."
She rose a brow. "That's strange, she usually remembers everything.
I fumbled with my hands. "What if the thing she dreamt about.. What if she wasn't supposed to remember?"

"And it also could be nothing."
I sighed. "We'll wait and see, then."
"When will we go back?" She asked me.
"Whenever I get an all clear from Master Obi-Wan." I said. "Until then, my mission is to protect you."

She smiled. "You don't need to protect me, Ani."
I nodded. "Yes, I have to. Obi-Wan will be disappointed if I fail."
"You won't fail." She said, placing her hand on my arm.
I looked at her. "Thank you, Milady."

Kendra's POV:

After getting ready to sleep that night, I stood outside and looked into the sky. It was so calm on Naboo, it almost made me not want to leave.

I stopped when I felt another presence. I looked around, not seeing anyone.
I quickly pulled my lightsaber from my belt, and turned it on.

It was then when a sharp pain met the back of my head with a sharp hiss, and I fell to my knees weakly before everything went black.

-

Darkness.

Hate.

Pain.

I opened my eyes in a squint, not seeing anything but darkness. I opened them all the way, and swallowed.
My wrists were in cuffed, along with my ankles.

A soft light appeared as a door opened. My heart raced in my chest as a shadowed figure stepped into the dark room.

"Who are you?" I asked.
They said nothing as they moved across the room.
"You're a coward." I spat, trying to move somehow.
"You will learn to know I am not afraid of a Jedi." The voice said.

I was stuck, and I knew I wasn't going to get out of there on my own.

Anakin's POV:

I stood up from my seat in Padmé's family's kitchen, and walked into the guest room Kendra and I stayed in to see she wasn't there.
I couldn't sense her presence either.

I hurried to Padmé, and she looked at me concerned. "What's wrong, Ani?"
"Do you know where Kendra is?"
She stood up. "I thought she was in the guest room."
I shook my head. "She's not here."
"Where could she have gone?" She asked before pacing back and forth.
"I'm getting a hold of Master Windu."

I lifted my comlink before beginning a hologram, and Master Windu appeared. "What is it, Anakin?"
"Master Windu, it seems that Kendra has gone missing."
He looked at Yoda. "Missing?"
"I'm so sorry, Master. She was here not too long ago, and she has disappeared."
"We're scanning her comlink for a location right now."

I stood impatiently as they did so, watching Padmé stand in the doorway.
"We found her."
I looked at the hologram again. "Where is she?"

"She's on Dagobah."
