A couple of weeks ago, you had gotten a cut. It was now infected to the point that a normal physician couldn't help. You had to go to the Royal Physician to get treatment.
You didn't want to have to go there because you had a crush on Merlin, who lived with Gauis. He was very cute and you wanted to date him, but you weren't even sure he knew who you were.
Gauis' quarters were huge. They were full of bottles and herbs.
"Hello?" You ask, looking for someone. "Hello?"
"Sorry, sorry." A voice yelled from down the hall before running in. "Sorry"
"Why are you sorry?" You ask looking at him, trying not to blush. It was Merlin, and he was looking better than ever.
"Gauis isn't here right now, can I help you?" Merlin asked, glancing at your arm.
"Um, sure." You say, unwrapping your arm. It was oozing infection and quite painful.
"Sit on the bed. Gauis has taught me a few things about infections." Merlin said, looking at various bottles. He grabbed a couple of bandages and began treating your arm.
"OW!" You screamed, jumping up from the bed. Tears welled in your eyes from the pain. It was like a pain that wouldn't go away.
"Hey, it's okay." Merlin said, standing up beside you. "I'm sorry, I know it hurts. I've had some pretty nasty infections myself."
"Not your fault." You say, sitting back down on the bed, your foot tapping with anticipation and pain.
"You feeling better?" Merlin asked when he finished.
"A little. It hurts a lot." You reply.
"I have an idea to cheer you up, Y/N. Do you want to go on a date with me?" Merlin asked, holding both of your hands, being careful of the injured one.
"Sure. I'll see you later to confirm everything else." You say before leaving, mentally screaming.
