DISCLAIMER
I'm gonna address this since I'm pretty sure some people have stumbled upon this book that is from the dark ages and have read/are going to read it and reach similar conclusions as some others have. This is just a warning to those who have yet to read this, since it is old. And I mean practically ancient.

For starters, I was pretty young when I first wrote this, like 12/13. To some this may not seem that young but I acted younger than my age, I'd even go as far as to call myself immature. I say this because while it won't, in any way, excuse the shitty plot, it will explain how someone could possibly dream up a story line that didn't translate quite as well as it could have. (Just a heads up, it's quite unrealistic, even for a book about werewolves, in some places).

Second, I may read this story back and wonder wtf I was thinking writing it and actually publishing it, but it has a special place in my heart. I look back on it, cringe and then smile. This story was one of the main things that helped me get through a tough period in my life, and for that reason I don't have the heart to take it down. That and, in all honesty, it's such a laugh to read back some times I feel I should leave it up for others to get a giggle out of too.

Third, it can't be entirely terrible with the love it's gotten over the years, which has surprised me, but also warmed my heart. This website has changed a LOT since I started using it, but one thing that has stayed constant is how people react and share their reactions to stories and I will love that forever. The fact that so many people did and still do read and add this story to reading lists just blows my mind. It makes me realise that while this story, to me, seems rather drab and badly written, to others they enjoy it immensely. My taste isn't the universal mould, so I refuse to force my tastes on others.

To those that have/do decide to read on - Thank you sincerely for taking the time to read this story, even if you didn't enjoy it. I know it's not the best, but I just a) don't have the heart to change it in anyway, and b) haven't got the time. At this point, I'm sure most people would say something along the lines of "this idea is mine so plz don't copy", but I won't say that. If my writing has inspired you to use a similar plot, but written in a much better fashion, then please go ahead. Inspiring others to write is one of the reasons I published and wrote this story in the first place. Stealing is frowned upon, we all know, but nowadays there's not a lot of things that are genuinely brand new. Take this story line, repurpose it, make it yours. All I ask as a humble author is maybe a nod of acknowledgement, maybe just one line to say who inspired you, will do. (And it might just make an old-woman-stuck-in-a-twenty-something-year-olds body smile for once)

I'll stop rambling on now,
Thank you humbly to those who supported this story when it was being written, and to those who find it today and continue to support it,
Much love,
Seren12 xo

Chloe Beckons let her mate go. She let her mate get married to another wolf and said nothing about it. Why? Because she cared to much about her best friend. She didn't want her best friend to feel sad, and didn't want the girl he fell in love with to feel heartbreak because he found his mate. Chlo was even willing to go as far as letting her best friend kill her by marking his wife. Chlo only wanted his happiness, but was she willing to let that over power hers?
