"And you just let her?!" I yelled out as I paced towards my car to follow Dani who apparently went to the firing range. I understand that Dani could be brash and stupid but for fucks sake she was still sick, a bullet was still lodged in her cranium and we were on red alert. What if another attack happens?! She can't be alone especially at times like these.
"We're coming with you" Lila said only now realizing the possible threat as she entered the vehicle with Danny tagging along, Hunter rode a different vehicle being accompanied by Cas. I drove quickly to the firing range expecting her to be training....that woman will have me going insane. I kept on incessantly tapping the steering wheel nervous that something bad might happen to her. I understand that Dani was super skilled and multitalented but she was human...she gets hurt, I've seen her get hurt...I don't like it
The field was empty except for a few guys shooting a few targets. I slammed my fist against the steering wheel. It was like a constant game of hide and seek with Dani and I was getting tired of it....I'm almost wavering on the choices of getting her a leash. I walked out and approached some of the men on the training field.
"Has Dani been here?" I asked as one guy paused and recognized me. He raised an eyebrow in a somewhat confused manner
"She has, not too long ago... I thought you were going to raid the Valiente estate. She took a bazooka with her along with 50 heavily explosive charges" the guy chuckled in amazement at his reaction I couldn't help but send a fist flying in his direction. As he complained on what the fuck was wrong with me. I honestly didn't know myself Dani was turning me into an airhead..and the thing is I was totally fine with it.
"She's going to fucking die you moron!" I growled as I ran towards the car in pure anger. Daniella you stupid bitch!
