Please don't kill me, just one more minute, please. 3... 2...1...YASSSSSSS!

Alex was exhausted; he had just completed a five hour minecraft marathon. He was well on his way to becoming an MLG gamer. His fingers were sore from the endless tapping, and he was just about to go to sleep when he heard a knock on his door.

"Who visits someone at 2 am?" He thought aloud.

He opened the door to see, surprisingly, nothing. He was about to slam the door, but he spotted a piece of paper on the ground. It was a letter with a wax seal.

"What is this, the 1500s?" he exclaimed as he removed the seal to find a letter addressed to him in beautiful calligraphy:

To Alexander Spence,

We have been observing you for a while. You have been attaining top scores consecutively in multiple video games. We believe you have the prowess and skill to join the International Gaming League. You will go head to head against several top competitors around the globe, in a wide variety of challenges. Do you think you have what it takes?

Enclosed in this letter is a ticket for your departure. We would be honoured to have you there.

Sincerely,

T.N.G.C

(The National Gaming Council)

P.S. This is a very serious gaming competition for only the elite. If you disclose this to anyone, we will cease all communication, and you will be immediately disqualified.

Alexander was dumbstruck. Never did he expect that he would get such an opportunity. After closing the letter, he scanned the outside perimeter of his house to see if anyone was there. To no one's surprise, there was no one to be seen.

Once entering the house, all exhaustion drained out of Alexander, and was immediately replaced with adrenaline.

"I HAVE TO TRAIN" he exclaimed. He put on his headphones, switched on his computer and played continuously. He didn't get a wink of sleep for the next few days.
