Will and Alyss never had kids, but, why not?
Although they didn't really tell their friends, Will and Alyss agreed about not having children. It's not that they didn't want to; they would honestly love to have one or two children around them, but they were scared. Scared that their children would lose their parents, since both Will's and Alyss' job could be very dangerous. And they didn't want them to have the same life as they had their selves. So they choose not to have children.
When Alyss was dying in the burning inn, she was happy about their choice.
When Will heard that Alyss had died, he was happy about their choice.
They never regret.
