Wu Suowei is excited because it is his first time doing business. In the morning before dawn, he would ride a broken tricycle to the main road. The tricycle is loaded with a bucket full of porridge, which is made of half a bag of rice and a bottle of food coagulant. The thick porridge in the small pot is sloshing in the pot, making Wu Suowei's heart heavy.

No longer to be manipulated and work hard for others just to earn money. Today, I shall sell a bowl of porridge, which comes from my own labor. I shall sell a little by little to obtain huge profit. I am willing to work overtime and lost myself in selling porridge just to earn money.

"Let sell porridge!"

Wu Suowei shouted in the empty road. He felt very happy.

After searching for a strategic place for two miles, Wu Suowei has finally found a nice spot. There are many vendors selling breakfast such as pancakes, jidan guan bing (pancake stuffed with egg), many kinds of steamed buns and coincidentally porridge is not available at that spot. Wu Suowei then stepped on the brake. Just when he is about to open the lid, he saw an old woman standing in front of him, staring at him.

"Do you want to buy porridge?" Wu Suowei asked.

"You're taking my place." She said with a straight face.

Wu Suowei smiled, "You did not rent this place. How can it be yours?"

She was anxious, "Ask the other vendors. I occupied this spot everyday"

Wei Suowei understands how this business revolves, hence he did not panic and rebuffed, "I've already parked and it is inconvenient and not easy to move. Just come earlier tomorrow."

She angrily placed the pot on the ground, looked straight in his eyes and spat, "Okay today I'll let you sell here. I don't think you could sell any!" Wu Suowei ignores her and continues on his work.

"Come and buy dumpling!" She began to yell.

Wu Suowei with voice ten times louder than her began to yell, "Come buy a bowl of porridge! A dollar per bowl!"

She started to foulmouthed him, "Why a young man doing something distaste? Have to come here to sell porridge. Ah....my son have graduated and now work in state-owned enterprises, sitting comfortably in the office. What is the crime of being great? I'd say, he must be born in poverty..."

"Must really born in poverty," Wu Suowei with ladle in his hand said, "Her son works in a state-owned enterprises but how come she's still here, opening a stall?"

Her face turned red with anger. She grits her teeth, do not know what to say as a comeback. Wu Suowei keeps a straight face.

"Give me a bowl of dumpling."

" Sure. I'll give you abundant of dumpling! "

Time passed by and the old woman is busy working at the side, completely ignoring Wu Suowei. He found out that her warning is true. All customers that want to buy breakfast will stop at his stall for moments and then they will turn to her stall to buy dumplings.

Half an hour passed and Wu Suowei didn't even sell a cup of porridge. The old woman humming mockingly while eyeing Wu Suowei.

Finally, he has his first customer. She is a young girl in her early twenties. "Give me a bowl of porridge."

Wu Suowei is a bit startled. He immediately opened the lid. He wants to scoop the porridge using the ladle. When he wants to pick up the ladle, the handle flew off the ladle since the porridge is too thick. The young girl looked weirdly at him.

Fuck ...... the ladle sink into the porridge.

Wu Suowei stood beside the pot and stared in despair. The pot is deep and the only way to take out the ladle was by using his arm to fish it out.

"Sorry."

The young girl was mortified and left.

He couldn't find any other way but to go home first and fish out the ladle. When he passed by the old woman, she snorted at him for a few times.

"Ouch...the bacteria from the handle fell into the porridge. Can this porridge still be eaten?!"

Wu Suowei gritted his teeth and start pedaling the tricycle.

Jiang XiaoShuai heard a sound from the outside and he knew that Wu Suowei was back. He happily went to the door, "Ah! Sold out so quickly?"

"Huh? The ladle falls into the porridge." Jiang XiaoShuai was speechless.

He opened the lid to take a look at the porridge. The porridge was too thick, it looked like a glue paste. Heartlessly Wu Suowei poured half of the porridge into another pot and then he fished out the ladle. Then, he added half a pot of water with half bottle of food coagulant, mixed well until it became a pot.

"The remaining half will be sell this evening!"
