The huntress stared at the creature, which stood opposite of her.

His voice was unpleasantly familiar to her, but she had never seen him like this. The black coat was still present, but his skin shone in a dazzling white. His eyes of the color of freshly clotted blood glowed evil from his narrow face. Long, sharp teeth lined up in a wide, lipless mouth.

Even the tangled, black hair appeared in a hideous caricature of themselves, because they now consisted of chitinous spikes. Almost as if this Oni had spider legs stuck to his head.

"Tirr.", she growled.

The Oni looked at Yuna. "And you are?"

"Yuna."

"Why do you kill my little ones?"

"Because they're monsters. Exactly like you."

"I get the feeling that we know each other."

Was this bastard joking?

"Of course we know each other!"

"Where from?" He grinned, but then he probably always grinned with this mug.

"You killed my family!"

Tirr tilted his head to one side. "Girl. I have gutted so many people, you need to help me a tiny little bit."

He couldn't be serious!

"It's less than two weeks ago!" Yuna's anger grew stronger. She clenched her fists.

"Let me think."

Tirr put his left hand on his chin and stared thoughtfully ahead of himself. Yuna's face turned red with anger. She pulled the knife and jumped at Tirr, screaming. Before she was close enough for an attack, he had already grabbed her wrist and stopped her.

"I'm not done with thinking."

"I'll kill you!" The huntress tried to pull away, but Tirr was as strong as ever.

"Yeah, yeah. Don't act so tough." The Oni hurled Yuna to the ground. She slid several meters over the ground before she was stopped by a tree trunk. "I think I know now who you mean. How is your eye?"

Yuna jumped on her feet. "I'll kill you!"

"Sure. Come here."

The blue-haired rushed towards the monster. With all her strength she rammed the knife into his chest. Tirr gazed mocking at Yuna.

"Looks like this won't work."

The huntress growled and stabbed him several times, but the blade was not able to penetrate his body.

"Do you know the definition of insanity, little one?"

Yuna stared at the monster, speechless.

"Insanity is when you repeatedly try the same thing and expect the outcome to be different."

The girl ignored him and stabbed him again.

"ARE YOU STUPID?!"

Tirr pushed Yuna away from himself. She was thrown off her feet and flung several meters until she crashed into a tree and fell to the ground. The Oni laughed amused.

"Now I remember you. The last time, you've been unyielding too."

"Fuck you!"

"What's going on? The last time you were scared of me. Now you're like a lemming, that runs towards a cliff." Tirr continued to laugh.

Besides Tirr appeared a beast. The huntress recognized both the color, as well as the scales. This beast had been in her house with Tirr. The humanoid Oni patted the head of the beast.

"Bon appetite, my little one." He gave the creature a soft slap, and it came up to Yuna.

The blue-haired pulled her Beretta from its holster and pointed the gun at the Oni.

"How unfair. He can't shoot." Tirr overcame the distance within seconds and snatched the gun from Yuna. He pointed the muzzle at Yuna's leg. "Maybe I should give you a taste."

"Like I care."

His eyes narrowed to slits. "Oh?"

He shot the girl in the leg. Yuna groaned, but kept staring at Tirr defiantly.

"Ah. I understand. This is, how you've survived."

Yuna laughed spitefully.

"That explains where my other went. You really are a bad girl."

Tirr broke the Beretta and flung the pieces into the woods. He turned his back on the huntress and made way for the beast.

"She's yours. Be careful, this one is dangerous."

The beast barked twice.

"One of you will die. The other goes home."

Yuna stood up. She lifted her knife ready for battle. Tirr leaned against a tree and watched them intently. The beast circled Yuna and growled threatening.

"Come on, you bastard!"

The Oni jumped at Yuna. She stabbed it with her knife, but the blade glided over the hard scales. The claws of the Oni tore away a piece of her shirt. The beast grunted in surprise.

"Have you not been paying attention? She's hard to get.", yelled Tirr.

The beast attacked again. The huntress dodged the claws and stabbed again. She couldn't hurt the creature with this knife, since its scales were to hard.

The blue-haired dropped to the ground and let the Oni approach her. It reared up in front of her and bared its teeth. It let out a wild scream.

"Idiot."

Yuna rammed her knife into the mouth of the Oni and drove the blade deep into its skull. The beast twitched a little, then it collapsed.

"Oh dear." Tirr applauded slowly. Mockingly.

Yuna got up to her feet. "And now I can leave?", she asked Tirr suspiciously.

"There is one small thing."

"What?"

"I realize that you're the new pet of Yoshiro."

"I'm not a pet!"

"I don't give a fuck. I have a message for my ... brother."
