Lost (Kylo Ren x Reader)

"Y/N, stay behind me," Kylo Ren said quietly as he moved in front of you.

"I can handle myself," you said, irritated as you brushed by him.

"Here take this," he said, passing you a blaster.

You took it from him, "You know you already gave me a light saber, Ren. I'll be fine," you said.

He sighed, running a hand through his hair. You were stood behind a wall, peering over and waiting for the right moment to attack on the men that stood on the other side.

"Okay, now's our chance. Ready?" You started to move forward but he grabbed your hand before you had been seen by anyone else.

"Wait!" He whispered harshly.

You raised your eyebrow and were about to protest before you felt the cool of his lips touch your mouth. When you parted, he rested his forehead on yours.

"I love you, Y/N," he said quietly.

"I love you too. Don't worry, this will all be over soon."

He nodded his head, moving further from you now, "Follow my lead. If you get hurt, I want you to go–,"

"Nothing is going to happen to me, stop worrying," you cut him off.

He nodded once more and gestured his hand towards where a group of six men stood. You hugged him tightly and then followed as he began to advance on them.

You heard cries of pain as you watched Kylo Ren extend his arm out towards them, using the force, he began to constrict their lungs.

You ran towards them, using your blaster to injure the men while they were still under his control.

You heard a door fall down from behind you and watched in horror as hoards of more fighters entered, shooting from every angle imaginable.

"Y/N! Fall back!" Kylo Ren shouted towards you as he tried to push the fleet of men away with the force.

You looked at him in desperation, he noticed your expression and tilted his head to the side, gesturing towards a ladder. You didn't wait after that, making a beeline for the far left corner of the room.

You used the light saber to dodge the crossfire, crying out as you felt something hit your calf. You tried your best to dismiss the pain, focusing on the ladder you knew you had to get to.

You sighed a breath of relief as you reached it, steadying your injured leg as you began to climb it.

You were making good pace as you felt a stinging pain sear through your torso.

Helplessly, you fell from the ladder, landing on the hard metal ground.
You heard Kylo Ren shout your name.

You squinted as you saw a bright blue flash of lightning, all the men in the room fell to the ground.

He ran towards you, repeating your name over and over.

The tears flowed uncontrollably from you as you felt yourself succumbing to your injuries. Kylo Ren crouched down, lifting your head carefully and placing it in his lap.

"Y/N, please. Please don't leave me," he whispered.

You looked up at him, his eyes were red, full of tears.

You did your best to muster a smile, but you felt it turn into more of a grimace as the pain took over.

"This is my fault, this is all my fault," he repeated to you, "I never should've let you fight, Y/N. This is all my fault."
You tried to shake your head, "Don't your dare blame yourself."

A cry escaped his lips as he placed a shaking hand over yours. He inhaled deeply, closing his eyes.

You slowly felt the pain leave your body, and in that moment, you felt like yourself again. You watched as his face began to turn red, and you hastily moved your hand from his, "It's hurting you," you said.

"Y/N, let me take your pain away, at least for now. If I can get you to the infirmary, they'll help you, they'll–" He stopped as he saw your face begin to turn to pale, "Y/N? No, no, no, no, please Y/N, I need you, I'm nothing without you."

His tears landed softly on your skin, and you looked up at him, "I...love...you...so...m-much," you managed to say as you felt your breathing slow down.

You felt the darkness surround you, and you focused your eyes on his face, it was the last face you wanted to see before the pain took you...

As Y/N breathed her last, Kylo Ren felt his world being ripped apart. He didn't know how he could live without you in his life, you had always believed in him, always loved him for the person he saw himself as and not how others perceived him to be. You were the only woman he had ever loved and now, you were gone.

He lifted you up, clutching your lifeless body tightly as he shouted, the tears rolling down his face uncontrollably, "Come back, Y/N. Come back! Come back, please, Y/N. I can't do this without you, come back to me, Y/N..."

His sobs and shouting continued as he held you in his arms.

But try as he might, he knew that no amount of pleas could ever bring back the love of his life.
