Everyone was happy that Sofia loved her gift from Hugo, and she liked all her other gifts too. They really liked the song the music box played. Now everyone knew that a true gift should really come from one's own heart.
Throughout the day, everyone showed Sofia how much they cared, and Sofia kept listening to the beautiful song her new music box played.
"I'm sorry I refused to let you give Sofia the music box, Hugo," Amber said. "I guess I should've let you make your own choice."
"Don't worry about it, Amber," Hugo smiled. "I'm just happy that Sofia likes my gift."
"And now we know what a true gift is," James said.
Everyone learned an important lesson: a true gift should come from the heart, and one must make his/her own decisions when it comes to giving a gift.
Sofia thought this was the very best birthday ever, and she listened to her new music box before she went to bed that very night. Best of all, she was happy that everyone showed how much they cared about her.
