Poe woke up to someone giggling, he was groggy for a second until he remember when he felt the steady breaths of someone in his chest, it was Rika. He blinked away the hopeful illusion, knowing that it couldn't be true. Just wishful thinking. Always wishful thinking. But still, there was still a warm figure that snuggled in his arms. And the giggling almost sounded...familiar.

"General Organa!" He shot up, still careful of Rika that was still in his arms. "How late am I?" He asks with wide eyes.

But the General only laughed and stroked Rika's hair with motherly love. "Don't worry about it, Poe." She says, looking back at him. "You're excused for now, but I cannot let you go on leave for long. You'll have a couple more hours with her."

Poe was about to say his thank until the General looked at him intently.

"But," she continued. "If you hurt her, young man." The General narrowed her eyes. "Be sure that your position in the Resistance and your pilot status will be gone." Poe gulped and nodded. Then the General smiled. "Promise me one more thing." She didn't wait for him to answer, "you'll eventually give me grandchildren." Poe's eyes widened, and then even more when the General left the tent with a noise that sounded dangerously like a squeal.

----

Rika woke to the sound of rustling. Then lips pressed to her forehead. "Stay," she mummers groggily, pulling a fistful of his shirt.

She heard laughter. "I need to go to lead the training and the scouts. I'll be back as soon as I'm finished."

"Promise."

"I swear."

Rika did eventually get up. She was stuck wondering around aimlessly until she remembered her toolkit on the Millennium Falcon. And what might be inside it, She sighed and rolled her eyes, then put on her jacket.

As she suspected, Rika was stared and pointed at. Again. She already was at the centre of the spotlight before she left; being Poe Dameron's girlfriend, one of Leia's most trusted officers, head of the Mechanics. But now, it was for a completely different reason. Sure, she still was Poe Dameron's girlfriend, sure, she was still Leia's favorite, sure, she had come back from the dead. But they were staring at now was because she had practically a fantasy. Being a Jedi, a former apprentice of the Luke Skywalker himself.

As Rika walked into the Cafeteria, the talking dropped into whispers. She strode towards Han, determined to get this over with as soon as possible. "I need to get on the Falcon." She was ignoring the curious looks.

"Why?" Han raised an eyebrow. "It's a long way, Rika, and I'm way too old to walk that far."

She gave him an exasperate. "Do you want to try and get Ben back?" She cocked her head. Rika knew she had his attention. "Well," she continued. "His old lightsaber might just be on your ship all the years it had been on Tatooine."

Han jumped up, so did Chewie. "Let's go."

It took them a few minutes to get to the Hangar, even more so with all of Han's complaining about cramps. It completely diminished hopes of Rika seeing Poe before he left.

"Your boyfriend's not here!" Snaps hollered, making some of the others pilots laugh.

Rika rolled her eyes. "And I'm not here for him, Wexley." She flicked her hand in his direction, causing the pilots to laugh even more. "Not you either." She added after seeing the look he had on his face.

"Burn!" Was shouted from different corners of the Hangar from amused pilots (that had nothing to do apparently).

Snaps laughed, "Still got it!" He hollered back at her, while she shook her head, amused.
