You unconsciously tossed and turned as you drowned in tears and sweat, caused by your constant nightmares. You shot up in your bed, your body trembling, unable to move....the cold atmosphere just made it worse.
After a while, you couldn't take it...you wanted him...you needed him. You made your way to his room, almost silent footsteps. His door slid open and your silhouette cast a faint shadow over him in his bed. Walking over to him you slowly got in under the covers.
He sensed you trembling and shaking uncontrollably.
"Y/N..." you heard him whisper softly. He draped his hand gently over your waist, his hand resting in the small of your back, and kissed your forehead.
"It's okay, Y/N...you're safe now." You looked up at him and he cupped your cheek in his hand. Wiping the tears away, he planted a soft kiss on your lips and smiled at you. You snuggled into his chest and drifted off, hearing these words...
"I love you, Y/N."
