Word got out to all the elven cities that the prince of GreenWood was back. Everyone was very happy. The king was gone allot these days, spending time with his son. Messengers were sent out to the elven kingdoms to tell a celebration for the return of the prince was coming up.

Servants were bustling the palace, getting ready for the celebration. It was like the one so many years ago. Except, the prince was doing some of the decorating. The king was leading the decorations, just like his wife did so many years ago. He was very exited. Every father always had that moment were they just wanted to talk, or brag, about there son, and Thranduil just never had that chance.

"Have you seen Legolas anywhere?" Thranduil hadn't seen his son anywhere since noon, and he was starting to get scared.

"I saw him a bit ago down the hallway looking at a tapestry, my lord."

"Thank you." And he headed that way. He was getting deeper till he couldn't hear anyone. He was wondering why his son would be this far. Then he saw him. Just like the serpent said, he was sitting in front of a tapestry.

"Little Leaf, what are you doing down this far?" Then he saw the tapestry, it was his his grandfather.

"I was walking down here lost in thought looking at the tapestries when I saw this one. Who is he?"

Thranduil never really did talk about there family's.

"That is your great grandfather. He was once a king to."

"Why isn't he here when elf are immortal?" Legolas had never met any of his family members.

"He had a calling from the ocean. When he felt it, he went to the undying lands."

"Oh."

"Know it's time to get you ready for the guest. Did you take your bath?"

"Yes Ada, I took my bath."

"Alright, know come on ion nin." And they walked hand in hand to get Legolas ready for the big celebration.

The great hall was beautiful. Green leafs were everywhere. Flowers adorned the poles. Everyone who walked in was astonished. But the prince looked almost as good as his father. Girls thought he was very cute. He was enjoying seeing some of his own kind. He was very happy that Gandulf was able to come.

"Well, someone seems to be enjoying himself!" Lord Elerond was very happy that Legolas was acting like a little child would.

"Are you healing well?" He looked completely normal, but you had to be sure.

"I'm doing fine, and it is healing well." Legolas was still a little shy.

"Know, I hope you still haven't forgotten about me." Lady Gatheridal was able to come, and was exited to see the child she named again.

"Hi Lady Gatheridal." Legolas remembered her perfectly.

"Well I'm glad you didn't forget me." She then embraced him in a hug.

Thranduil couldn't stop smiling. He was very proud.

And that night was when the prince of GreenWood was for sure back home.
