Things weren't as great as I wanted them to be. Yes, I survived an alien attack on New York. Yes, my best friend survived along with me.
But that didn't stop the nightmares. I lost people along the way.
That didn't stop what was to come.
Earth was turning out to not be the paradise I had hoped it would be. But I guess that was okay, because this was my new normal. Chaos was bound to interrupt my life on a daily basis.
I just didn't think it would throw me around like a punching bag and threaten to be the death of me.
