I Won't Let Go (Book2)

Chapter 4:

~Sami's POV~
I'm laying in bed one night while Ross is at work and I get a call on ooVoo from my ex boyfriend Mark. We just talk for 2 hours.
"Hey um I'm getting tired so I'm gonna hang up the call and go to bed."
"No. Don't. Just go to bed with the call still on." I lay my head down not thinking about what he's trying to do. I fall asleep but I'm woken up around an hour later from Ross screaming, "What the hell Sami! Who's that!"
Mark gives a smirk and says, "I'm her boyfriend. Who are you?"
"What! Sami your cheating on me!?!?"
"No. I'm not. I swear. I dumped him when I was 15. Look I have the text still." I show him the text but he doesn't believe me.
"Ok. Fine. Don't believe me." I take off the ring and throw it on the bed. I walk into Zach's room. I pack his clothes and toys. I take his stuff and put them in the car. I walk back in and go into my room and pack all my stuff. Ross keeps telling me to stay but I ignore him since he doesn't believe me. I walk back into Zach's room and pick him up. I take him out to the car put him in his car seat and I put my stuff in the trunk. I call Cory.
"Hey Cory. Um can I stay with you and Nick for awhile?"
"Uh yea sure Sami, anything. But what happened?"
"Well technically me and Ross broke up because he thought I was cheating on him and I told him I wasn't but he didn't believe me."
"Ok. Yea you can definitely stay here. I'll stay up a little longer to make sure you get here alright."
"Thanks Cory. I'll see you soon."
I hang up and drive to Nick and Cory's house.
~Cory's POV~
"Hey Nick. Sami's gonna stay with us for a little bit because her and Ross are having problems."
"Ok. I'm fine with that. Just don't do anything stupid. You know those to belong together."
"I won't do anything but what if she tries anything?"
"Then don't let her. Ross' heart belongs to her."
"They broke up."
Nick stopped what he was doing and turned around to look at me straight in the face.
"I don't care if they broke up. They will find a way back to each other. That's why you won't do anything to her to make her think any differently."
I was about to say something then I heard a knock on the door. I go to answer it. It was Sami. I showed her where Zach can sleep then I asked her if she wanted to sleep in my room and I'd sleep on the couch or if she wanted to sleep on the couch. She said she'd sleep on the couch.
"Cory I don't know if me and Ross will ever work. I feel like there's someone else for me. Do you know what I mean?" She turned and looked at me.
"Yea I know what you mean."
She started to lean in. I decided to close the distance and I kissed her. After we kissed we decided to watch a movie. After the movie it was 1:30 in the morning. We went into my room and we cuddled until we fell asleep. I know Sami still loves Ross but I love Sami too.
