03. You don't understand

Allison and Dallas sat in her car in utter shock. Scott had told them the truth of their mothers passing. Dallas laid his head back on the seat.

Dallas was a mommy's boy. So finding this out broke his heart. Just like the day he discovered she was dead. He didn't talk to anyone for weeks. That was the scariest part. He was quiet. He showed no reaction. Chris even started taking him to a therapist but that didn't help. He still wouldn't talk.

"What were you doing? Following me?" Allison asked abruptly

"I wanted to help"
Dallas admitted

"I never want you to do that again" Allison said with a straight face

This made Dallas' blood boil. He can't take Allison's constant nagging anymore.

"Your not my mom. Stop acting like it" Dallas yelled in her face

Allison's face dropped at the sound of her angry brother. He hadn't even said the word mom ever since the incident.

"I'm taking you to Zoey's"
Allison said starting the car

"Fine" Dallas said looking out the window.

Dallas laid like a starfish on Zoey's bedroom floor as he poured all his feeling to her. He was ranting about everything that just happened. He also told her about his mom.

"I just need to help"
Dallas said his eyes shut holding tears back.

"Then why don't you?"
Zoey said

Dallas sat up. A confident look in his blue eyes.

"I am. I'll catch up with Scott, Derek and Isaac" Dallas said

"Now can I come?"
Zoey asked

"What no why?"
Dallas asked furrowing his eyebrows

Zoey mumbled something under her breath. Dallas gave her a questions look.

"What?" He asked

"Isaac is hot"
Zoey admitted

"Oh my. You realize he's a junior right?" Dallas asked

"Why you gotta crush my dreams?" Zoey asked

"There's like 50% chance we could date" Zoey said

"No."
Dallas said with a
straight face

Zoey rolled her eyes.

"I'm still coming"
Zoey said grabbing her shoes

The two ran to the school. Zoey didn't even bother questioning how Dallas knew they were there.

"Scott" Dallas yelled running up to the school doors.

"Dallas? Zoey? What are you doing here?" Scott asked

"Hi Isaac" Zoey said waving to Isaac

Isaac knew about Zoey's crush on him so he didn't find it weird, but he didn't like her like that.
