"How does it feel eating your first meal as a married woman? Does it taste good?" Kaine questioned as I covered my mouth to hide my laugh while I chewed my ravioli. I'd never admit that it was better than my mother's even if it was and they served large portions in this restaurant that I wouldn't be able to eat all by myself.

"It feels good and weird, we actually got married and we're sitting in Italy right now on our honeymoon. I can't wait to go swimming tomorrow and ride on the small boat, I've never been more excited" I explained and Kaine bit his lip.

"I think I'm most excited for tonight after dinner when we get back to the hotel" Kaine smirked and I felt my stomach drop. If I was being honest with myself then I had to admit that I wasn't excited about loosing my virginity I was scared and couldn't imagine what it'd even feel like.

I'd tried to wear a tampon once when I was seventeen but ended up never using the box because I couldn't figure out how to do it and I was to ashamed to ask my mother. I lost my appetite momentarily as I say my fork down.

My attention turned to a man who was getting down on one knee in front of his girlfriend I assumed. He pulled out a ring and she covered her face as it grew red, a few of the people sitting nearby cheered on the proposal.

Kaine reached over the table and asked me was I okay. My eyes slowly looked at his hand on top of mine and I forced a smiled and slowly nodded my head. I'd been trying not to sike myself out and I was trying to mentally prepare.

"Bwoy, wouldn't you rather go for a midnight stroll? Or we could stay up and talk like we use to do maybe even make a fort?" I said quickly and Kaine looked at me for awhile.

"I'm not going to force you to do something you don't want to do. I've waited this long so what's another day? I'll just take a cold shower, again" Kaine said forcing a fake smile and I looked down at my plate not being able to look at him anymore.

"It might sound dumb but I'm insecure about my body and I'm scared because I've never done anything like this. What if I'm not good at oral?" I questioned with a hint of frustration and he laughed lowly.

"We don't have to do that, I don't want that done" he replied quietly. Kaine picked up his fork and preceded to eat his lasagna while I watched him.

The table we were sitting at was outside and there was so many people taking strolls with their loved ones or friends. It looked like something out of a movie and I couldn't help but to feel more relaxed.

"Can I ask if this is where your father was born?" I questioned and Kaine looked at me briefly before turning back to his plate.

"He was born here but not raised. Josline said his parents met here and they had some type of romance, my grandfather followed my grandmother to New York before leaving her" He said and I nodded.

Kaine hid his emotions a lot by lashing out and I knew he wanted a family more than anything and I couldn't wait to give him that one day. I wondered if he'd be an affectionate father or kinda distant he was unpredictable sometimes.

We finished eating dinner soon after and Kaine paid the bill and tipped before he stood up and grabbed my hand. He said he wanted to skip out on dessert because he had a surprise and I couldn't help but to wonder what that possibly was.
