He eventually stopped eating.
His mother didn't notice though. Neither did his father. They were too busy with their work to even notice how depressed their son was. It was only when the school called when they finally decide to stick their noses into his business.
He stopped sleeping too.
Lexis stopped being happy once he realized that his parents didn't care about him. They were too engrossed in their work, and he just lost the one person who did care about him.
But he didn't know that you never gave up on him. You just gave him his space like he asked you to that one day.
